The truth is aerial one tree could keep you fueled for a year with a log burner... also that fuel is not needed with the right clothing sister.I agree with this statement. Definitely love trees.

Hence the reason why the uk will not Dig for oil in blackpool where there is enough oil to keep the uk maintained .....

Yup its a good way of mining as to not polute the water with drilling (fracking etc.... however does that make it safe to our earth ,,,,,? "i mean taking away our engery from our core...Tracking isn't popular because of the cost to the environment. Whole towns and areas have moved out in certain places where fracking has polluted their drinking water. Also since tracking began in Oklahoma their earthquakes went from two a year of may 4 or there about to two a week of a greater magnitude.
The best way to obtain fuel from coal based material is to mine it and first extract the gas to be used as fuel. This is how town gas was made in the UK before no the sea gas took over. The coal after the gas has been extracted (A skilled operator can extract gas from the same piece of coal up to five times) is then still use able and is known as coke. Coke is quite enviromentally friendly to burn. The way people used to live was fear more enviromentally friendly.
Incidently, an ordinary average petrol car was said to have over 80% of the entire pollution produced in the production stage of the vehicle (I believe it was 82 or 83%) and due to the poisionus gasses released to make modern batteries, battery electric and hybrid cars are around 10 times more polluting then an average petrol car in their lifetime, assuming the batteries last the lifetime of the vehicle.
So, even without catalytic converters, an old petrol car kept on the road for as long as possible is the least polluting car to have and own despite having a high milage worn engine! Not only this, such old cars can be converted to run partly from water to greatly increase their efficiency. (Electricity passed through water separates the molecules to produce hydrogen which is safe as one does not need to store it in a tank (Stored hydrogen is dangerous) and as it is produced while on the move, is not dangerous and vastly increases the efficiency of the fuel (Petrol) if it is mixed via simply feeding it through the air intake of the car. The exhause side of pure hydrogen is water! The things to be aware of is hydrogen is far more explosive then petrol so one needs to tame it down a bit, and also petrol contains lubricant additives as well as naturally being oil based while hydrogen is water based.
So if we care about the environment go back to the old ways of gas made from coal and can also be made from wood, and then later burning the end product for those who are not in a gas area. (In the UK, most electric was produced from burning coke so it was a win win situation environmentally speaking).
Is a bit of a red herring for the UK as the cost involved and the chemicals needed to be pumped in means the end product isn't really worth the funding to get the raw material. Here a 4.6 earthquake took place after they said they wanted to try fracking. They claim them not to be linked but funny co incidence as Wales has so few earthquakes of that magnitude one has to go back a good 100 years to find another! Here our coal mines went up to seven miles out under the sea and connected with all the older mines as well, so every one would need total sealing up. It has been known due to so much mining here from the days of the Roman occupation of Britain onwards. This area had a few hundred mines for coal from the late 1600's to the early 1990's. are you talking about the new solar powered mirrors at the end of this clip.. worth watching the whole clip a bit long but verry intresting...They do work and work well. They may not be cost efficient though. In other words, the amount they cost to build and put up compared to the returns in the amount of electricity they have produced, if they last as long as they are supposed to they tend to break even rather then make any profit. It is why governments need to give grants to have them put up. Having said that, they do work.
An interesting thing that I've found is the new solar power panels... Well. They produce ten times more electric then the older designs, which they themselves are more likely to be still the normal choice for a panel. I have lose connections with not industries from one brother who used to work as an electrician when the earlier wind farms were first erected in the UK and another brother who works at a farm where there are now solar panels. Both technologies are good in the right places though there are problems. The windmills under certain conditions tend to be noisy for residents and as it is a constant swooshing some residence even relocate to towns to get some sleep at night! The panels were said to be ideal for Shep to graize under them but in reality, if one keeps sheep one can't crawl under fields full of panels to move ones sheep when needed etc. The farmer concerned (Who didn't make the decision for the panels as he rents the farm, though the landowner had the farmers future in mind to have them installed) gave up keeping sheep, but at least the income from the panels has substituted for this.
UK isn't really the best country for panels but warmer climates are. Panels do work here though. I heard Italy gave EU grants to households to install solar panels and almost every house put them up... Then when most of the country had panels the government brought a tax in per panel installed! Many panels were skipped right across the country! It seems strange to tax them! Rather like the older houses in the UK with arrowslit windows not because of defensive purposes like castles had, but because there came a heavy tax on glass windows!
