The importance and responsibility of the authority.

Many people pine for take over the control, thinking that this makes for freedom. The sensation of taking hold of the thoughts, feelings, plans, desires and actions of the others entices.

Notwithstanding, when we take the oversight of something, we need to exercise authority according to Peter's advice: “not by compulsion, but willingly; nor for base gain, but readily; nor as lording it over those allotted to you by God, but becoming examples to the flock (1Peter 5.2,3).

We need always to have in mind that we are cope with people for whom Jesus died on the cross. People aren’t rubbish to be ditch in the first garbage can that we find. If Jesus brought a person to us it is because He wish to teach us something through this person and vice-versa. Therefore, let’s seek to have good eyes:

  • “The light of the body is the eye. Therefore if your eye is sound, your whole body shall be full of light. But if your eye is evil, your whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” (Matthew 6.22,23).

See people with bad eyes only will hurt us. If this is difficult to us, let’s cadge to Jesus for washing. After all:

  • “To the pure all things are pure. But to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure, but even their mind and conscience is defiled.” (Titus 1.15).

Finally, let’s follow the example of Jesus who always subjected Himself to Joseph and Mary (Luke 2.51) and, chiefly, to the Creator (Philippians 2.5-8):

  • “For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.” (Proverbs 4.3).

Have a incredible day always helping people and have mercy on those who make mistakes. This is what does wherewith we are special and allow us to reap boons (Galatians 6.7-9).
