The importance of intimacy with the Wisdom and Prudence:

  • “Then this Daniel was made overseer of the presidents and satraps, because an *excellent spirit* was in him. And the king was planning to set him over all the kingdom.” (Dan_6:3)

In virtue of being found in Daniel an excellent spirit, he was promoted. And, what is an excellent spirit?

  • “He who has knowledge uses few words; a *man of understanding* is of an *excellent spirit* .” (Proverbs 17.27).

It isn’t in vain that Daniel averred:

  • “And those who are wise shall shine as the brightness of the sky; and those who turn many to righteousness shall shine as the stars forever and ever.” (Daniel 12:3).

And this shows how we will be light in this world:

  • “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under the grain-measure, but on a lampstand. And it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in Heaven.” (Mat 5.14-16).

Not to mention that it is this that will allow us to act without mumbling or disputing and, thus, to take away everything that preclude Jesus’ light of glaring with its full brightness:

  • “Do all things without murmurings and disputings, so that you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation. Among these you shine as lights in the world, holding forth the Word of Life,...” (Philippians 2.14-16).

So, be sedulous in delving on the Holy Scripture and have an iridescent day in Christ Jesus.
