I agree the temple will be built soon but have you considered the possibility that the mosque and the temple could occupy the 38 acres available?

Let's hope not, unless one wants death and mayhem.

Jesus died to conquer death so it isn't something we should be afraid of anymore. Also take comfort that if you're away from the body, you're present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8).

The bible is very clear, this temple will be built. Christians should be looking forward to it.

The Messiah will come and teach the evil people the truth - then there will be no more confusion!

A third temple? When did God command that be built? I don't know anywhere in the closed cannon of scripture where we are commanded to build a third temple.

@John B you say "Christians should be looking forward to it"? I strongly disagree, I believe Christians should be tearing their robes in horror hearing this will be built. It is an insult to our King, a slap to Jesus face attempting to reinstitute the animal sacrifices and shadows that pointed to Him. He told us very clearly that "IT IS FINISHED!"

A huge hole in this view is God never commanded this "3rd temple" be built that I know of. Can you point me to His word where this is commanded? Is He still revealing things to us, is the cannon of scripture still open?

Well if His revelation is complete, and nowhere in it does He command this temple be built, at least we wont have to worry about a false temple being desecrated, right?

I call this "the 3rd temple dilemma" and have never had anyone answer it with a satisfactory answer backed by His word yet. Most the time it's just "god can do anything", full stop. Can you tell me how a temple that men built by their own will could be desecrated if it's not Holy?
Unless God commands His temple be built is it not just another man made structure that was already desecrated by us brand new. This doesn't even touch on the point that this is His plan moving backwards, why? God doesn't work like this anywhere else that I know of. I'm very interested in your answers to these questions and hope to read your reply soon. Have a great day.

The temple will be rebuilt under the authorship of the direction of the antichrist so this scripture can be fulfilled.

3 Let no one deceive you in any way; for that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.

This man who we call the beast/antichrist will be very christlike and the jews will probably beg him to be their king and their eyes will not be open till he places the abomination that causes desolation.

It is only clear to those who want it to be clear but it really isn't clear at all.

I understand your position but there will be bloodshed of non-believers, perhaps even another world war based on faulty eschatology so no believer in Christ should want or pray for that to happen.

There WILL be another world war whether we like it or not. And I don't think it has anything to do with praying for it to happen later to avoid it in your lifetime. This whole end-times event is on God's schedule, not ours. It's inevitable. And more than half the world population will die when all is said and done whether they wanted it or not too.

That's why Jesus said to spread the gospel so that everyone has the opportunity to be saved. God is telling us this is how we prepare the world for it.

Believe me, I wish the end times didn't exist. But God laid it upon my heart that instead of pretending it won't happen, to prepare for it instead just like Jesus did when He knew He was going to die on the cross and be separated from His Father. What helped Jesus to get past the terrible part is to look to the end result. Reuniting with His Father and reconciling people to God by His death on the cross.

So prepare for the last days to endure to the end as God has called us to do and look to the good that comes out of it. If you let God help you, you'll become fearless no matter what Satan, the antichrist and the unbelieving world would do to you.

It is good to always be prepared because it seems pretty clear bad times are up ahead.
