I’d like to thank the Lord for giving me Joy even when there is no reason for it ! So if you prayed for me thank you it’s working! When you pray for others you get blessed , so pray even for your enemies you will get blessed ! Thanks for the blessings ! In Jesus name !

i just learned that biblical joy is not the usual definition of joy as in the dictionary. We can experience both joy and sorrow at the same time. Joy is anchored in the assurance of Jesus.
The Joy of the Lord is to be our Strength, the Joy set before Jesus enabled him to endure the cross etc . A great subject ! Yes I get Joy from Jesus often . There was a small booklet written by Monnet , a French pastor long ago called “Looking unto Jesus . “ a very good little booklet . It helps to look unto Jesus in all circumstances. I have found it helpful at times . Bible based of course . Very small maybe 20 small pages .
Here is a verse for you psalms 144 v 15 Happy is that people, that is in such a case : yea happy is that people , whose God is the LORD. KJV. Now if we are happy about evil then that’s a bad happy . Just as loving evil is a bad love . Happy in the Lord , not happy in the things of this world . A few thoughts.
Sometimes when I'm feeling down, I seek within, and I remember Yahweh.
And I know the Lord is in me, and I know the Lord is all around me,
and I just resonate that Yahweh energy from within, and bless Yahweh.
Ad like to clarify that some things in life can bring small happiness, like I’m glad the dog is house trained makes me happy I don’t have a mess to clean up . But these are minor things that bring minor happiness.
Whenever I feel down, I always think to myself, there always someone else who has it much worse! I had a guy I was following online on Youtube, and he had pancreatic cancer. He made videos of his progress and I along with many would leave comments and words of encouragement. Then one day he stopped posting and we found out he died. He was only 42 and had a 2 year old kid.
His name was Rowland, and in his videos he would always say he continues to choose Joy.
Amen... It's what non-believers should see in us all the time, leading them to ask how we do it.... The answer: Jesus!
My last 2 yrs have been so very difficult, not quite as bad as Job of the OT . But it also has strengthened my faith , and Joy at times when there is nothing to be joyful about looking at the circumstances. Yes the Lord Jesus really does help and care even when there is no one else . So if you are reading this there is always hope if you tell God about it ! So many verses in the Bible confirms this . Here’s one I enjoyed recently psalm 86 the whole psalm is great . V5 For thou , Lord , art good , and ready to forgive ; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee . KJV
