I do admit that the U.S. government is trying to take to much control of us, but they will eventually have an uprising on their hand. However though a communist government takes total control of your lives, and has been known to use violence and hold people at gun point to make them do what they want.

The U.S. and united nations has conceded Crimea, but has warned Russia not to go further into Ukraine, but it is a well known fact cause Putin has said this himself that he wants t reinstall the communist USSR and bring back all the area's back into Russia that once belonged. The Ukrainian's do not want this and have asked for help to prevent it. The U.S. is trying a diplomatic solution first by talks and sanctions, but will not back down if Putin forces the issue.

It also begs the question of why Russia would allow street protesters in Kiev to dictate policy for its nuclear fleet in Crimea. The US certainly would not allow its nuclear fleet to be threatened in such circumstances.

I live in the US, but I do believe as well as a lot of others here that nobody should force their ways on others. So if the US was forcing itself on another country and that country asked for help then yes another country would have the right to stand up against the US for that country.

We are not third world.....that would insist that the majority is in poverty, starving, and homeless and that the nation is constantly at war with in itself. This U.S. is a country that was originally built off of Christian traditions, even though it is now falling from that. But it is also a nation that is built off the hard working middle class that keeps the nation going. It is the now day governmental system and the upper class that are trying to weed it out and make it unimportant.

i think this is the issue altogether,,"the Russian navy"s ports",,,,one of the most important is in Syria,,so the u.s. knows they will fight to keep possession of it(as allies),,,,next is the Crimea,,,so it is a strategic move to cause friction there(by the u.s.),,

You are mistaken the Ukrainian government is against Russia, it was Crimea people that were pro-Russian and it was those protesters who are for Russia took over the government buildings in Crimea. The Ukrainian government wants to go into those buildings and kick out the pro-Russia protesters that took them over to get them back

I don't need to leave the US to see countries like in the middle east that have always been in turmoil with each other and bombing each other left and right having the citizens living in fear, or walking around thinking that is normal.

I and many other Americans are not living in fear as people think. We live comfortably over here and if there is something we don't agree with when it comes to government, we can still stand up and voice our opinion with out consequence.

Until recently, Ukraine had a pro-Russian President, Mr Yanukovic. He was toppled following street protests. This is why Russia is not keen on people driven by street protesters having influence on their nuclear fleet in Crimea.

The US would not willingly allow similar street protesters to influence its nuclear fleet, either.

President Jimmy Carter, not noted for a willingness to acquiesce to the idea of armed aggression, and who indeed has made a career out of the discourse of 'human rights', has expressed the view that Russia's intervention in Crimea was inevitable.

They did, but when it came to the annexation topic to rejoin Russia that he supported. The majority of the people in Ukraine stood up against him which is their right in a democracy, and ousted him. Only the ones in Crimea and a few others supported him, but the majority did not. The government that is now in place with the support of the majority of citizens in Ukraine do not want the annexation and therefore want there governmental buildings back.

Even though the U.S. and united nations have conceded Crimea, Ukraine has not !!!
