Some Jews are atheists, some are secular, some are orthodox and some are Messianic. One size does not fit all. And it's nobody's business but theirs.

"What business of mine is it to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside." 1 Corinthians 5:12

I do not object to believers meeting on the day of the week of their choosing. I do object to the Sabbatarian lie that the sabbath is mandatory for all believers.

Yes, our business/mission is to share the Gospel with all ilks (Matt. 28:19-20).

I know what is considered a day in scripture. The sabbath is irrelevant to me because I am not a Jew.

Then you are not aware that Paul stated there was nothing wrong with the Old Covenant -- the problem -- the Israelite's refuse to obey.
If they had obeyed they would be living now in the Promised Land.

The Covenant God offered the 12 Tribes was sound, perfect, wonderful --- the 12 tribes did not have the Spirit of the Father to give them the willingness or power to obey.

and the only change to the New was the Promises -- better Promises. the Old did not promise eternal life and the new does.
which means the Law is still the "consideration" in the New -- look up what a consideration is in a contract. with out a consideration a covenant/contract is not valid.

Plus; under the New Covenant the two "parties" to the Covenant have not changed. God and the House of Israel See Jeremiah 31: 33

Which means for any, for you be included in the New Covenant you must be grafted into the 12 tribes.

Under the New C the terms have all been raised to the spiritual level,
Remember What Christ said in Matthew, even if you only lust for a women in your mind you have sinned?

When Christ returns He will bring everyone that has or will ever live into the Family of God and all will be given the Divine Nature of God which is revealed by the Torah.

I am well aware that there is nothing wrong with the Old Covenant. the problem is with man's sinful nature, which the Law exposes. However, the Law is the shadow and Christ is the reality. God's covenant with Abraham came before there was Israel and that in Abraham's seed, all the families of the earth would be blessed. There are about 16 million Jews. About 8 million live in Israel.

The New Covenant is new because it really is new. The Law was powerless to change anyone. God instituted a new law, which seems to have escaped you. It is the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus. Read Galatians and Acts 15.

I don't agree that all mankind will be saved. God gave Adam the choice and everyone who has ever lived has the same choice. God set before Israel life and death. Lord Jesus said that those who believe will not be condemned but those who do not believe are already condemned. (John 3:18).

If I go witnessing and tell everyone that they can reject Jesus, sin all they like and God will save them anyway, I can assure you that no one would be saved. The reality is that most people love their sin and believe themselves to be fundamentally good. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

Sabbatarians, including SDA, insist that the day to worship God is Saturday. Strictly speaking, it is Friday evening to Saturday morning. They claim that the early churches met on the Sabbath and that the Roman Catholic organisation introduced Sunday worship. Both claims are false.

There is historical and Biblical evidence that refutes the Sabbatarian claim. Sunday is the first day of the week and the day that he Lord Jesus rose from the dead. The Apostle John is the only direct statement regarding the Lord's day, Revelation 1:10.
The day of the Lord refers to a specific day in Jewish eschatology that was the day that John was seeing in his vision, not to the day of the week that he happened to have it.

Nowhere does it state in the NT that believers met strictly on the Sabbath. Believers met on the first day of the week:
Indeed, there is nothing about the command to keep the 7th day holy that prohibits meeting on other days of the week.

"On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Since Paul was ready to leave the next day, he talked to them and kept on speaking until midnight." Acts 20:7
Part of sanctifying a period of time involves distinguishing between when it begins and ends, so Jews have a tradition of meeting on the first day of the week on Saturday night at sundown for Havdalah in order to mark the transition between the Sabbath and the work week. So Paul did not speak from morning until midnight but rather he spoke from sundown until midnight, then left on Sunday morning to travel. So this does not establish that they met on Sunday morning, and even if they had, it does not establish that it was the start of the new tradition, and even if it was, it does not establish that they hypocritically set aside God's command to keep the 7th day holy in order to establish their own tradition, and even if they had, then this would not establish that we should follow their example of sin.

"On the first day of every week, each of you should set aside a portion of his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will be needed." 1 Corinthians 16:2
Jews also traditionally don't handle money on the Sabbath, so waiting until Havdalah to collect offerings is in according with continuing to keep the Sabbath holy. If they had collected an offering on the Sabbath, then you would have something supporting your position.

Lord Jesus said that the Sabbath was made for man. The Lord's day is just that, the “Kyriake hemera,” i.e a day belonging to the Lord.
Indeed, the Sabbath is a precious gift from God that was made for our own good and not for our detriment, so we should not spurn it.

It is interesting that the emphasis on the Sabbath for Israel was as a day of rest. Israel was fundamentally an agricultural society. 6 days of hard work was to be followed by complete rest. The "sabbath rest" for the believer is no longer physical. It is entering into the finished work of Christ on the cross, allowing Him to live out His life in and through us. Lord Jesus is no longer limited by a physical body. He dwells in the heart of every believer to lead, direct and empower us to do God's will.
Nowhere does the Bible say that the Sabbath rest for the believer is no longer physical. In Hebrews 3:17-18, they did not enter into God's rest because of their disobedience/unbelief, and in Ezekiel 20:13, it specifically mentions that they greatly profaned God's Sabbaths, so someone should not think that they can enter into God's rest while having the same disobedience/unbelief that preventing the Israelites from entering into God's rest. In Hebrews 4:9-11, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, we should rest from our work as God rested from His, and we should be careful to enter into that rest so that no one might fall away by the same sort of disobedience, so we should continue to keep the 7th day holy.

As humans, we are still restricted by our bodies. My body reminds me of this every time I get out of bed. I have a slight ache or pain here and there incurred simply by sleeping. Ridiculous. Everyone needs a day of rest. And in modern times when work is so varied, rest can be different things to different people. Someone tied to a computer all day should get out and about and enjoy physical activity. A builder or a bricklayer will want to have a physical rest. Godly common sense is a great asset!
God could have commended to take a day of rest once a week if that is what He wanted, but He commanded to rest on the 7th day in memorial of when He rested after Creation. There is no evidence in the Bible of people picking which day they wanted to rest on or of picking what rest means to them.

It was not Rome that introduced the "Lord's Day" as the time for believers to meet. Rome did formalise it. It was common practice long before Constantine.
In Mark 7:6-9, Jesus criticized Pharisees as being hypocrites for setting aside the commands of God in order to establish their own traditions, so there is nothin inherently wrong with following a tradition of meeting on Sunday mornings in addition to obeying God's command to keep the 7th day holy, but we should not hypocritically set aside any of God's commands in order to establish our own traditions.

One might see the small group of believers in Rome as being mostly Jewish as Priscilla and Aquila are there. One might see them having difficulty with abandoning Sabbath observance as this was a signature observation for Israel. This is why perhaps Paul wrote;

Rom 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
In Romans 14:1, the topic of the chapter is in regard to how to handle disputable matters of opinion in which God has given no command, not in regard to whether flowers of should follow God, so nothing in the chapter should be interpreted as promoting rebelling against what God has commanded. The Sabbath is not mentioned anywhere in Romans 14 precisely because it has nothing to do the topic that Paul was discussing and you are unjustifiably interpreting Romans 14:5 as referring to the Sabbath.

In Romans 14:4-6, Paul referring to those who ate or refrained from eating unto the Lord, so he was speaking about those who esteem certain days for fasting. For example, it had become a common practice in the 1st century for people to fast twice a week even though God did not command that and people were judging and resenting each other based on whether or not they chose to do that (Luke 18:12). Paul was not suggesting that we are free to break the Sabbath or commit murder, idolatry, adultery, theft, rape, kidnapping, favoritism, or rebel against any of God's other commands just as long as we are convinced in our own minds that God doesn't need to be obeyed, but rather that was only said in regard to disputable matters of opinion in which God has given no command.

The reason why we are to keep the Sabbath holy is not because man esteemed it as a disputable matter of opinion, but because God rested on it after Creation, He blessed it, He sanctified it, He sanctifies us, and He commanded to keep it holy. Moreover, the Sabbath is holy to God regardless of whether or not we keep it holy and what is holy to God should not be profaned by man, so we would still be obligated to keep the Sabbath holy even if God had never commanded anyone to do that.

Yes, Jewish believers were often Sabbath observant. That is not the point. There was no need for them to be, but if they chose to, that is fine. If Sabbatarians want to meet on the Jewish Sabbath, that's up to them. I do object to their false doctrine that Sunday observance is the mark of the beast. They have zero evidence for it. The opposite is true, God's word does not impose the Sabbath on believers.
Someone doesn't need to be follower of EGW in order to take the position that followers of Christ should follow his example of obedience to what God has commanded.

Colossians 2:16 disproves SDA Sabbath doctrine. Let no one fall for it. God does not give brownie points for Sabbath attendance. It is the fruit of the Spirit and the works initiated and empowered by Christ that count for eternity.
That verse by itself leaves room for two possible scenarios:

1.) The Colossians were not celebrating God's feasts, they were being judged by Jews because they were not, and Paul was encouraging them not to let anyone judge them for not keeping them.

2.) The Colossians were celebrating God's feasts, they were being judged by pagans because they were, and Paul was encouraging them not to let anyone judge them for celebrating them.

Paul described the people who were judging the Colossians as promoting human traditions and precepts, self-made religion, asceticism, and severity to the body, which means that they were being judged by pagans and that the second scenario was the case. Those promoting asceticism and severity to the body would be judging people for celebrating feasts, not for refraining from celebrating them. Paul was emphasizing the importance of not allowing anyone to prevent them from obeying what God has commanded, which makes it especially ironic that this is a goto verse for people to try to justify their refusal to obey what God has commanded.

God would have punished everyone who holds their Sabbath on other days besides Saturday, like He punished the Jews to correct them.

But He hasn't done this because it's not a sin. Jesus is the true sabbath rest. Saturday is a mere shadow.

🕊
It is not good to mistake God's mercy and forbearance as permission. Jesus is God's Word made flesh, so saying that he is our rest is not different than saying that following his example of embodying God's Word is our rest and it would be contradictory for God's Word made flesh to be our rest instead of embodying God's Word.

"the Law is the shadow and Christ is the reality."

I have heard this over and over, I have no ideal what it means, ""Shadow of what reality""???

the churches use many phrases like this one plus many words like justification, grace and love.

I do not like abstract phrases or words, I like words like concrete, stone, rock, words with a mental picture.

the Greek language is abstract --no mental picture whereas the Hebrew language has mental pictures,

all of this abstract stuff does is cause confusion which is one reason there are 45,000 different churches

When Christ returns He will bring a new language for entire world -- I am sure it will not be abstract.

Saying Lord's Day could be the same as the Day of the Lord
The day of the Lord has a specific meaning in Jewish eschatology and is often referred to as "on that day". For example:

Joel 2:31 The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.

Amos 5:18 Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord! Why would you have the day of the Lord? It is darkness, and not light,

Isaiah 2:17 And the haughtiness of man shall be humbled, and the lofty pride of men shall be brought low, and the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.

Matthew 24:36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son,[a] but the Father only.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.

However, the Lord's day has come to refer to every Sunday instead.

Peter also said in Acts 2: Great and Glorious Day of the Lord

The Day of the Lord, The Sabbath day, a day rest. God made everything in 6 days and rested on the 7th. Let's wash our clothes. Drop the religion and find the Lord.

God rested or stopped creating, but He continually works His plan of salvation for humanity,
and we should never cease cooperating with Him--every day.
