the bible is the Spirit breathed word of God you all believe that correct?
why is it so hard to see spiritual things in the word? what manner of person doesn't see the inspiration of God in scripture.
A lot of you fight the spirit with the very spirit the bible is written by

Good points WT...

Satan seems to be mimicking Christians according to this parable.

I guess if we apply to say the RCC it makes total sense as it is a place where Christians and servants of Satan are intermingled.

If they had ripped up the RCC, then I guess it would have negatively impacted real Christians in that organization

Remember, too, Jesus did not say that parable was about the people found in church denominations. He said it was about the world, in general. (See verse 38.)

Yes, but the idea here is side-by-side. As you say, that can be business, but also can be a Church setting too. Dennis Radar comes to mind..

Yet... what was rooted out of His kingdom were all those that did offend and do iniquity. That can very well refer to saved believers found in iniquity for the reason why they were excommunicated at the pre trib rapture event.

Neither the world nor any unbeliever that was not saved is in His kingdom.

I'm just telling you what Jesus said it was in verse 38. Take it up with Him if you want it to only pertain to a certain congregation. When He spells it out like that, I generally try to work with what Jesus actually said, rather than what I think it could possibly mean.

This is an interesting parable, when I was amillennial this was one of my go-to passages to prove it.
However this could also be about the end of the millennial kingdom, where the wicked are devoured by fire as stated in Revelation 20.

The scriptures are spirit breathed that is true. But, the problem with revelation truth is applying our own interpretation to it.

The Hebrew language is poetic and the greek is too to some extent. So it's studying the definitions, and comparing all the scriptures that have that same greek or Hebrew word to get the intent.

I had to learn the hard way and was rebuked many times. Now I can prove what I see by study.

The Lord does indeed want us to see behind the scenes. These are precious gems and will cause our foundation to be strong.

But, we can't interpret out of our own head.

Even His explanations can be misapplied as can the parables; verse 43 is proof.

Matthew 13:[SUP]36 [/SUP]Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.[SUP] 37 [/SUP]He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;[SUP] 38[/SUP]The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;[SUP] 39 [/SUP]The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.[SUP] 40 [/SUP]As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.[SUP]41 [/SUP]The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. [SUP]43 [/SUP]Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
So the reference to the field being this world is the actual world; agreed, BUT as far as the judgment is concern, verse 38 is referring to His kingdom; the saved believers; those abiding in Him as vessels unto honor and those that are not because of unrepented offense and iniquity, they will become vessels unto dishonor when left behind for which there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth over the loss of their first inheritance; think Esau and the loss of his birthright, but the prodigal son is still son regardless of having give up his inheritance for wild living.

So the actual world is getting the fire. Those not abiding in Him will be cut out of His kingdom to join the believers in facing not only the fire coming on the earth, but the subsequent great tribulation.

If the field is the world, then the world is getting the furnace of fire. Those whom are left behind will see the end of their world as they know it when it is changed to how the world will be during the great tribulation after one third of the earth is burned up.

So again, I point our verse 43 as we need His wisdom to even discern His explanation.

The field is the actual world as you say, but what is being judged is not being taken out of the world, but out of His kingdom of those who offend and do iniquity ( verse 38 ); that means saved believers not found abiding in Him as His disciples. Verse 40 testify to the end of this world for which those taken out of His kingdom will be in when the furnace of fire will hit this world in ending that world as we know it to be.

The righteous shall shine in the Kingdom of their Father which is where? Above. That is what Jesus had promised us to prepare a place for us in His Father's house to take us where He is now.

John 14:1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.[SUP] 2 [/SUP]In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.[SUP]3 [/SUP]And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

So there is a pre trib rapture since Jesus will keep His Promise, because catching us up but only to return to earth is hardly being received in His Father's house where Jesus is now.

Just as the church is to excommunicate, so will God do at the pre trib rapture for the reasons below.

1 Corinthians 5:[SUP]4 [/SUP]In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,[SUP] 5 [/SUP]To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

That ties in with getting rid of out of His kingdom of those that offend and do iniquity, but note the end purpose that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus which is why there are vessesl unto dishonor in His House, and why the prodigal son is still son.

Note how we are to hold fellowship and see how it has to be the same at the marriage Supper.

1 Corinthians 5:[SUP]8 [/SUP]Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Anyway, I know only God can cause the increase, and so I hope you can at least see by Him why I apply His words in that way even if you do not agree with how I am applying His words to mean.

Why do people keep resisting what Jesus clearly said about this? It's great to dig into Scripture for hidden meanings, but not at the detriment of what is transparent. We must be faithful with a little to be trusted with much.

Sorry. Need to correct this part of my quote from an earlier post.

So the actual world is getting the fire. Those not abiding in Him will be cut out of His kingdom to join the unbelievers in facing not only the fire coming on the earth, but the subsequent great tribulation.

I meant unbelievers.. not believers in that statement. Believers not found abiding in Him will be cut off in joining unbelievers in facing not only the fire coming on the earth, but the subsequent great tribulation.

Just seeking by Him to rightly divide the word of truth.

Except that there is a rapture in rev 14,during the GT. That in itself ruins it for all but a pretrib rapture.

Not to derail this thread, but there is not a shred of evidence for a Rapture in Rev 14. It is all about judgments and wrath. Also a post-millennial Rapture would nullify Revelation 19, where the marriage of the Lamb occurs before the battle of Armageddon. That marriage could not occur unless the saints were already present in Heaven.

well spotted Enow. It is the Church.

Wheat = Church
Tares = Satanists in Church

Matthew 13:

36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
