THE MYSTERY IN THE MIRROR
Man and bride, one flesh from two,
Is the mystery of Christ
And His church. So Profound, true,
Wonder of the world, On-High-
Miracle- not to eschew,
But to hold in reverence: blight-
Not what God’s created new.
The mirror are we, when love
We do choose – man, God and wife,
For true love will choose above-
Ways, born new. Unselfish, Christ’s
Life betwixt us, death each blust
Of day to ourself(ves)- take high
Roads: Crucified self a must
Or this precious gift – she, he
Not alone, blasphemed by ones
Who’s vile desires try ‘see:
The Mirror displays the just
Way, Truth, and Life our Christ be’s:
He sought her. She knew Him not.
Mocking, faithless, crucified
The One True Love – lusts still sought.
Yet He gave Himself freely -
Greatest Love of all: not just
For His friends, but a wife be
Hating Him to death; as must
He go. And in like some sweet-
Looking ladies do hide thus
The ugliest Judas heart-
-Beat inside, and though knows (H)he
She will betray (H)he still gives His
Life for even the most E-
Vil, heard-hearted, thankless this
Sought or begot wife.
But tis
Glorious when a Ruth’oes rise
To love (H)him, giving in kind
Or more as a pregnancy
Of love her love gifts so right -
Not one but a thousand we
Put to flight, children – new life
God’s reward, an orchard seen.
Mold yourself to (H)him, for ye
Were created to serve, we
Were created to serve – He,
We…. ALL… for the greatest, ‘these
Are the butlers, maids, wash’n feet.
- You do not fool, arrogant
Ones pretending good, giving
Smile-service, doing horrors
From behind, thinking that Christ
Does not see; He is the door
That through which true weeds will nigh
Have no key- Obey your (K)king,
If obey you can, for like
Christ: “If you love me, do thee
Say ‘yes my loved liege’ to my
Commands,” obvious litmus
Thence in these spiritual times
Of war: mere decent are thy
Works, or betray your army,
Country, family all the more?
(H)e of God comes to give, serve,
Lay down, correct, cover more
Sins of (H)his with love when sure
Repentance they give – wait sore
With grief (T)their prodigal son,
Protect despite sin, its gore,
Redeem her in life as He
Purchased us all. Make sure ‘see
With faith, to shepherd, to (K)king.
Heal with strong rebukes, with sweet
Whispers gentle, comfort these
Sheep with songs, God’s praise, all these
To give, lay down in traff-eek
If’in need be.
- Wicked these
Times, folks, say, oft, “Need she not
To love her man...” ,what evils
From Noah’s days ugly, ye?
The Word says, “Love neighbors each…
Love your enemy, for each
Hitler does having lov-ed-be,
Can in kind. So what reward
Do you have if he you’re like?”
… Yet some cannot be bothered
To love their own flesh, husband???
Sodom and Gomorrah, worst,
Wicked last days are at hand,
Surly! And surly His grace
Takes each we Daniel, Ruth-hands,
Through impossible fires, griefs,
Lions mouths, and the firebrands
They tattoo “Christian” Like He,
His name a curse be – ‘newsstands,
‘courtrooms – where greeds’ cowards seat,
Thinking as before, “Will ye
Heal thyself, Christ-man? Nay on
Our Cross will we see our lust
For life’s blood complete.” Just on
The corner’a time yonder
See your answer: Jesus, long,
Fiery sword brandished, come’s, ‘yer
Judgement courtesy Father
God in one hand, reward we
Faithful Joseph’s, Sarah’s, Paul’s,
John the Baptist’s – by suffering
Christ’s own pains in the other.
Many woman called, lamps He
Gave to meet Him, ‘the wedding:
Some put oil in, were thus wise,
Some foolish did not thus keep.
When the wedding feast cry came,
The wise women went in. These
Faithless who did not bother
Closed His door on did He. Watch,
Therefore, Love, He Is coming.
Love your flesh (Man/wife) for your
Mirror, King, Savior, mayhap
Husband soon now is coming.
