How narrow is the path that leads to true life,
With logic to the left and reason to the right.
“We’re under grace so come out to play!”
“No no, you’re wrong, and it’s Sabbath today!”
These two crowds keep the true path compressed,
Too left or too right, the truth's far too suppressed.
But both sides will remain in this unresolved riddle,
Pulling or pushing all who dare walk in the middle.

Narrow is the way for us to follow,

if you read the Word it will not return hollow.

Jesus is the way and my Saviour,

We should embrace each other and watch our behaviour

For there is a day soon when we will be judged

And not being on the narrow road, you just might be nudged

Into a pit of unfathomable terror

But trusting in Jesus will make it disappear in the rear view mirror.
