People in my U.S.A. have been "honoring" the American flag for a very long time. When the anthem is about to be played, people stand up, take their hats off, put their hands on their hearts, and quietly endure the moment until it is finished. People revered the flag because of the American "values" it stands for. Well now it is changing.
Since my country is in deeper doo doo now, people are now refusing to bow their hearts to it. Many NFL (National Football League) members have recently defied the NFL rules by kneeling during the anthem, instead of standing because they are acknowledging the fact that this country has issues and needs to be resolved, basically.
My heart is divided over this issue. Here's my take on what is wrong with this picture.
1. First of all, no one should be forced to revere anything. That is a matter of personal choice. Looks like forcing everyone to bow their hearts to patriotism is in the will of the president, but that is not in the will of God. Either our hearts be wholeheartedly committed to the will of God, or be wholeheartedly committed to your homeland. We can not have both. There are no 2 masters. Rabbi Jesus taught us this. The glory of God through the Name above all names alone, or the glory of man. The latter is very vile. Resolve every national issue first through the wisdom of God, and when every problem has been successfully resolved, then its citizens can be proud of the nation they are from. Patriotism can wait. It's not fitting to be patriotic for a sinful nation. Mr. Trump hasn't even started eliminating these problems by accepting biblical standards and executing them. The Holy Bible tells us to give our hearts to God and serve Him only. It's never a good idea to give your heart to a sinful, unrepentant nation. You know what happens to such a nation, right? Choose wisely which god you will serve.
2. Second of all, stop with the propaganda about male, female, and transvestite retards dressed in uniform killing people with bullets and bombs. They work for the government. They do not work for you, the citizens and foreigners. That means none of us send them on our own behalf to kill civilians overseas. Yeah that's right, they call it "collateral damage" but they also kill them on purpose. The only one that died for me was Jesus the Messiah. He died so I can have abundant life as long as I'm alive. Everyone else suppresses it, or denies it. Your grandstanding "heroes" don't do crap for me or you. We're free because God didn't let tyranny get us yet. But since the nations are not going to change their ways, tyranny is fast approaching. It's not because of the military. The military is a branch of the government. You've been lied to by your elected officials. They continue to fool you today. You yourselves mirror what they say. Why not say, "Let's honor the military of North Korea," or "Let's honor the veterans of the Soviet Union?" God alone decides who should remain free and who should be wrapped in the chains of oppression. No person wearing big boots can change that. Did you get the demo yet?
3. The flag stands for many vile things the country refuses to give up, which are rooted in haughtiness. An example of this, is the many injustices in the constitutional doctrine. The will of God is much superior. Cowardly man will always hide his head in a dusty hole in the ground.
4. Ironically, they should not have been in the NFL in the first place. All sports organizations do detestable things because they're part of the world's system. If they no longer wanted to be involved with an organization that does the things they hate, then they should have quit while they were ahead. Refusing the anthem while still committing other abominable things in their lives won't give them much credibility.
5. They should not have been kneeling if they were told to do so by their peers. That is where you draw the line. Our convictions comes from God Himself. Not from politics, not from brotherhood, not from man-made laws, not from patriotism, not from anyone. Ha, I would not be surprised if the constitution never even teaches that.
6. The kneeling players were doing it wrong. They play American football because it's their job. Therefore they have rules to abide by. If they wanted to speak up against wickedness, they are to do that on their own time. Anyone who breaks the rules of the workplace, risk losing their jobs or cause unnecessary troubles for others.
7. If you're conscious of sin, then speak up and judge against everything that displeases your Maker, even if the majority doesn't want you to. Don't speak up for your political views, your opinions, your feelings, and certainly never brag about anything unless the Father and the Son are involved in it. But do this at the most fitting time. There is a time and procedure for every specific matter under the sun.
8. Be grateful always. Thank God for everything in any circumstance. You'll be a better person and you can shine a light on everything.
9. Great values don't originate in some country. Great values originate from God. I tell you right now, there are very little values in my country. But as hopeful as I am, there are loads of great things in the Holy Bible that I have personally adopted as my own. Almost every thing from man I throw away as garbage to be burned by the hand of God as a fellowship offering to Him.
10. Do not honor/pledge allegiance to anything that continues to dishonor God. Whether this is from a fool in government or not or from the world itself. Anything not done by God tends to be His enemy. Remember, our thoughts and our way of life are a lot different than His. Be on guard against spirits that weren't sent by God and who whispers and mutter things that contradicts God's Word.
All this is happening because God is now dismantling man's glory in himself. It began first in Europe, now it will reach Asia with dire results. The devil will always arouse the interests in man.
Matthew 16:23 - Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me. You do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men."
John 18:36-37 - Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it was, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the authorities. But now my kingdom is from another place." "You are a king, then!" said Pilate. Jesus answered, "You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me."
Matthew 10:34-36 - "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn
`a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law--
a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.' "
Despite all the rhetoric the world spews, this is why the world and every aspect of life are changing and very unstable now and it won't be the same again.
