Theme: Sin
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be._Romans 8:7 (KJV)
What does the word enmity means? According to Google the word enmity is the fact of being opposed to someone or something.
So there it states that our carnal mind in itself is completely vile and filthy from the inside out: spirit, body, and soul, it is why it is so important to let God work in us from the inside out by submitting to Him (obeying) daily through reading of the word, praying , surrendering our everything to Him, setting ourselves apart for the service of the Lord, so that we can actually abide in Him alone, and in the end the word of God says, we will bring forth fruits of the Spirit. Therefore, this above Bible passage clearly states that our adamic nature cannot, and will never be able to please God. So, this passage shows us that everyone is a sinner apart from abiding in God when we see we are doing well in our lives, it is not us doing it, but God who is living within us. We must humble ourselves and stay humble all the time so that God can sustain us in His presence.
