Have you even studied new.modern.hyper grace? It promotes no awareness of our wretched condition in favor of only focusing on a new identity that is only righteous. In fact sin is virtually defined as acknowledging the wretched condition (except with lip service, of course, to deflect criticism). Sin is a symptom of a confused identity, i.e., taking their eyes off of their own righteousness.

My view of grace is that man finds favor in GOD's eyes in his wretched condition, and receives power and ability through the holy spirit to overcome enslavement to that wretched condition.

What is your view of grace? Are you a wretched man finding favor in GOD's eyes? Or were you a wretched man that has been transformed into the righteousness of GOD by an awareness of an identity that doesn't even need to acknowledge your wretched condition?

What is your problem as verses 18 and 20 that surround verse 19 clearly show who is being spoken of here, and it clearly states antichrists that tried to bring in lies.

It does not apply to those who fell away because of hardships or troubles !!!

Not all people John was addressing were of this group of antichrists......................

It's not "knowledge", but AWARENESS. You don't have to know your Earthly father's ancestry or "pedigree" to understand the bond and relationship you have with him. And that is because you identify as His son.

there were MANY antichrists. They were not one group. All antichrist bring lies.

Identity is something in the mind. A thought, an image. Trans Jenner identifies as a woman. You identify as the righteousness of GOD. Same thing. Identifying as something doesn't have transformational power.

Surely you have read the Bible telling us to understand and be aware of who, and whose, we are? That is identity.
