I'm jesting...somewhat, and Tintin is a better example of most Lutherans I have met.
would certainly hope you don't get your theology from Hollywood movies or expect them to do a good Biblical job

As earth wind fire and water are all represented each by their own directional triangle. Earth points southward direction indicated by a mark (30 height) near the point like an "A" window. Water also is represented by a triangle that points southward....the two are overlaid(see 24 above) as one(water upon the earth...see 17 above) destroying everything with the BREATH of life. However God gave Noah instruction to build another triangle (AIR) resembling the earth triangle with a mark (30 height) with the "A"(see 16 above) window ABOVE, indicating this triangle points north. Overlay air on the two previous triangles(earth and water) gives you the star of david with "A" window above for air so life may survive the water upon the earth. This is the TEBAH or life-preserver/saver or in story time you can call it a boat or ark. The doors are the inward parts of the sides of the star...one on each side having lower, second and third stories.

Hollywood told the story...not the whole story but certainly if you read your bible with a passion for seeking and not resting till you have found the truth you would see that there is a touch of Hollywood in all of us, especially when you truly find GRACE in the eyes of the Lord as Noah did (see Genesis 6-9)!

I think its sad this is a big of an issue as its being made out to be! I posted because I have a right to post as I am lead and respond as I am lead just as you. I dont have to agree with you everytime you post and respect you enough to tell you that. So with that for me this issue is done more important threads than to get sidetracked about a movie!

didn't you see the Aliens-Did-It channel miniseries?
bahahaha that was my favorite part of that miniseries. I had been watching that particular episode with my family, and my dad briefly got up and left to use the restroom. When he returned, I was laughing pretty hard and he asked why. I replied "ninjas have descended upon Sodom and Gomorrah!"

Haha! What a creative interpretation of Noah's story! I don't think Darren Aronofsky (the director of Noah) could outdo you!

I don't know, Angela. I respect you greatly but I'm not changing my view on the movie. I've given my thoughts in my reviews. I didn't write them without thinking. In our Aussie version, the Ark sinks and everyone else survives.
