I don't trust a moving thing unless I control it. It's a pilot thing. :p
 
that's the idea, you're supposed to control it

lean back and pull the reins to make it stop
click your heels in its sides to make it walk
push with either foot to make it walk in that direction

easy as that
 
(- does all that, and the horse suddenly changes direction, nearly throwing me of its back -)

Heeeey!!! It does seem to have a mind of its own...
 
Which horse is this? Some of them are quite spirited and don't take too kindly to new riders.
 
that's because you told it to go fast and then to turn, you gotta take it slower

if you double click its sides it will go fast, if you lean forward then it will go even faster... (you are now warned)

try just giving it a light click and holding the reins so they are not tight, but you're able to steer the horse by pulling lightly on them

Careful, not too fast! You don't quite know how to control it yet. Watch out for that tree!!!
