In the last post I had written about five covenants in the Bible(Sacred Word). I hope Christians are reading, studying, researching, learning and praying for Sword of Truth.
As a believer I am responsible for studying the scriptures for teachings and instructions of how to live my life according to ABBA's Sacred Word. The Bible is the breath(ruach) of ABBA(GOD) given to the disciples and ABBA's son JESUS(YESHUA).
How can Christians debate over the Sacred Word between the Old and New Covenant when the whole Bible is the breath(ruach) of GOD(YAHWEH). Some Christians stated they are under the Old or New covenant and very rarely does some Christians say both.
Are Christians rejecting the Sacred Word(Bible) of ABBA(YAHWEH) based on man's religion. interpretation, philosophy, traditions, rituals or councils of man. Lets begin the journey through biblical text of the Old Testament where Israelites committed SINS under the Old Covenant.
Old Testament: Sins Committed
1. Praying to other gods: [/SIZE][h=1]Jeremiah 11 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)[/h]9 The Lord said to me, “A conspiracy has been discovered among the men of Judah and the residents of Jerusalem. 10 They have returned to the sins of their ancestors who refused to obey My words and have followed other gods to worship them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah broke My covenant I made with their ancestors.
[h=1]Hosea 3 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)[/h][h=3]Waiting for Restoration[/h]3 Then the Lord said to me, “Go again; show love to a woman who is loved by another man and is an adulteress, just as the Lord loves the Israelites though they turn to other gods and love raisin cakes.”
Terminology: Raisin Cakes:"Yahweh loveth the children of Israel, though they turn unto other gods, and love (margin "or them that love") cakes of raisins." These are supposed to have been cakes of dried, compressed grapes offered to false gods. Gratz considers that the Hebrew words are a corruption of 'asherim and chammanim ("sun images"). Compare Isaiah 17:8; 27:9. In other passages "cakes" stands alone without "raisins," but the translation "cakes of raisins" is given in 2 Samuel 6:19;1 Chronicles 16:3; Song of Solomon 2:5 (the King James Version "flagons"); Isaiah 16:7 margin "foundations."
2. Rejection of the Commandments:

I will not relent from punishing Judah
for three crimes, even four,
because they have rejected the instruction of the Lord
and have not kept His statutes.
The lies that their ancestors followed
have led them astray.

Go and marry a promiscuous wife
and have children of promiscuity,
for the land is committing blatant acts of promiscuity
by abandoning the Lord.
3. Social Injustice: [h=1]Amos 2 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)[/h]6 The Lord says:
I will not relent from punishing Israel
for three crimes, even four,
because they sell a righteous person for silver
and a needy person for a pair of sandals.
7 They trample the heads of the poor
on the dust of the ground
and block the path of the needy.
4. Sexual Immorality: [h=1]Amos 2 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)[/h]They trample the heads of the poor
on the dust of the ground
and block the path of the needy.
A man and his father have sexual relations
with the same girl,
profaning My holy name.
[h=1]Numbers 25 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)[/h][h=3]Israel Worships Baal[/h]25 While Israel was staying in the Acacia Grove,[a] the people began to have sexual relations with the women of Moab.
[h=1]2 Samuel 11 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)[/h]4 David sent messengers to get her, and when she came to him, he slept with her. Now she had just been purifying herself from her uncleanness. Afterward, she returned home. 5 The woman conceived and sent word to inform David: “I am pregnant.”
The Old Covenant committed great SINS against ABBA(GOD). There are more SINS in the Bible that Israelites committed against ABBA(GOD), but I will be here next two months writing each SIN.
For the Christians who are under the New Covenant, I have the following questions! Did the Christians under the New Covenant committed the same SINS? Just because Christians are under New Covenant does that means the Law of Obedience is done away with? Christians no longer have to follow commandments of Old Testament? Is there truly a New Covenant under the New Testament or just Old Testament written in different manner Hmmmm!! Christians under the New Testament always mention grace, mercy, but I can also see grace and mercy under the Old Testament.
