it would seem that the top 1% believe most strongly in class warfare. this is shown in everything form tax rates to access to the political leadership. when the us was preparing to go into iraq i was with a group of young people who went to a senators office. the purpose of the visit was to ask if she had read the response of the guardian to the colin powell speech and if she had known the facts revealed in the article, would she have still voted in favor of the invasion. i was media coordinator for the group. i called the washington office 5 times to tell her that a group of constituents were in her office and would like to speak to her. i made 5 calls with no response before the kids ended up locking themselves together and sitting down on the office floor. if that was a group of executives from a large corporation i suspect they would have gotten a different response and not have had to do that to get the senators attention.
