"The only way to attain eternal life is by coming to and following the Lord Jesus Christ until the end.

  1. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
  2. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

  1. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
  2. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

  1. If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

  1. You study the Scriptures diligently, thinking you have eternal life in them, but 'these are the very Scriptures that testify about me,

  1. yet you refuse to come to me to have life
  2. Let's examine closely the flow of actions between the sheep and the Lord regarding salvation:

    27. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

    28. And I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

    Read between the lines:

    1. When we hear the voice of the Lord Jesus, we are known by Him.

    2. When we follow the Lord Jesus, He gives us:

    a) eternal life,
    b) we shall never perish, and
    c) no one can pluck us out of His hand.

There is no teaching of Jesus about 'free gift' or 'by grace, and the belief in the finished work of Christ to be saved, as you teach it today. Instead, those teachings are from Paul. Paul is not Jesus, even if you say he was sent by the Lord."
Unjustifiable from God's word. Paul received his teaching from Jesus. The very first Christians recognised this, including those who were disciples and then Apostles. Peter affirmed Paul's teachings, the same Peter that Paul rebuked. I'm real glad that Paul wrote what he did. I was born again as a consequence of hearing the gospel that Paul wrote. If you are born again, then your new spirit should testify to the fact that Paul was an apostle appointed by Jesus.

There is a Distinction between the gift of God and the Disciple.
Most of the Bible is written to born again believers in Jesus Christ. It instructs us on what God expects in society, worship, personal growth and obedience.

Jesus says the scriptures/bible are the very scriptures that testify of Him so that those who read them may come to Him to have life. Never did He say they were instructions that we must put into practice in serving and worshipping God. as well as parameters for personal growth and standards of living in a society.

Most of it is not intended to save. If you want to be saved by the law, then keep it perfectly. See how long you do that.
An honest self appraisal will conclude to you that you are condemned.
Are you of the belief that you now have eternal life because of what you’ve read and believed in the bible regarding the issue of salvation?

The only solution is the only Savior.
Alright! But how is the Savior the only solution? It’s easier said than done!

Change your mind from believing in your ability to be a perfect disciple to placing 100% of your faith in Jesus.
How shall we do that in the actual execution of the act (on-the-job training)?

There are many disciples, OT prophets and Jesus Himself that can be quoted under this first point. I have not had a good night sleep in a week. Not going to happen tonight. You'll get one or two witnesses from Scriptures when you read this post. That should motivate you to seek out the truth if you seek the truth.
I find this part contradictory to placing 100% of our faith in the Living Christ Jesus; it doesn’t make sense.

.
Jesus often ran into the Pharisees who wrongly taught that the purpose of the law was to impart eternal life through obedience.
Today this has been relabeled commonly as "repent of your sins." It's just another way of saying, obedience to the law saves.
Jesus recognized when Jews approached Him with this belief, so He often told them to do something that they were clearly violating. You pointed to the rich young ruler. Have YOU personal kept that one?

It’s clear from the responses of Jesus to the rich man that obeying the law is not enough for him to inherit eternal life.

.
Jesus had help with His ministry from John the Baptist.
His gospel message differed from his message for national Israel to prepare for their Messiah. His salvation message was to BELIEVE on Him Whom God had sent, that is on Christ Jesus.

JESUS’ final words for all of us, across all generations, to be saved is,

COME, FOLLOW ME.

It’s only by coming to and following the Living Christ Jesus until the end that we’re always saved.

.
You throw out over half the New Testament with the false claim about Paul. I think the disciples who acknowledged Paul in Acts and the epistles knew a little bit more about Paul tham your preacher in whom you decided to trust.

Don’t you know that the whole bible has no part nor role in the process of attaining eternal life but only as testimonies to the Lord so that we, readers, may come to Jesus to have life? That process is a life sharing moments between you and Jesus, me and Jesus, and them and Jesus until the end.

.
The ONE Book written to the lost specifically out of 66 books of the Bible is unique in:
A. Excluding the most oft misrepresented word in the Bible,
Repent.
B. Includes the Word BELIEVE exactly 100 times KJV only.
Did you know that?
Do you think the gift of God is worthy of reading the gospel of John and asking for understanding in regards to this topic?

31But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
John 20

Even if you read and study the Bible day and night, but don't come to and call on the living Christ Jesus, and listen to and follow Him, salvation will continue to elude you.

You should have quit while you were tolerable--before the last sentence.
The correct sentence would have read something like, "Thus, we need to harmonize the TOJ with the TOP.
FYI I will list statements of each regarding salvation:
Neither is there compromise nor anchorages to Jesus on any issue at all - it’s the Lord’s call always. The correct sentence to exalt the Lord and bring Paul to his proper place is still,

Neither the bible nor Paul is the Living Christ Jesus. The Bible is a book of testimonies to the Living Christ Jesus, but never be misled to treat it as the Word of God, which is only the sole attribute of the Living Christ Jesus.

If that were the way to be saved, would Jesus have written it that way? But why, then, are the final words of the Lord Jesus Christ on the issue of inheriting eternal life: 'Come, follow me'? What do you say?"

"To fulfill the burnt offering in the old testament so that the Testament of the True Church of the Lord takes into effect afterwards".

What is the Testament of the True Church of the Lord? I've never heard that term before. I'm trying to get a fix on where your theology comes from. I'm Southern Baptist.

And I not only walk with Jesus in my dreams, I'll walk with Him everyday.

Yes, still can't sleep.

I'm a follower of the Living Christ Jesus, who came into our lives from 2001 to 2014, through random moments of shepherding and guiding that He graciously rendered to us.

The Testament of the Church of the Lord is the present-day testament of the Lord God Jesus Christ to His flock."

Read the verse I quoted. Here it is again with a better translation. If you set aside Pauls' words you are setting aside Christ. Set Paul's words aside at your peril

The one hearing you, hears me; and the one setting you aside, sets me aside; and the one setting me aside, sets the one who sent me aside. Luke 10:16
G114 ἀθετέω atheteo (a-the-te'-ō) v.
1. to set aside.
2. (by implication) to disesteem, neutralize or violate.

2 Peter 3 v 15-16 ~ Consider also that our Lord’s patience brings salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom God gave him. He writes this way in all his letters, speaking in them about such matters. Some parts of his letters are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.

If you are born again, then your new spirit should testify to the fact that Paul was an apostle appointed by Jesus.

Even though Paul was sent by Jesus, any teaching [coming from him] that contradicts the teaching of Jesus [the way of attaining salvation in this context] should be ignored and only Jesus’ must prevail always!

Jesus’ teaching on this issue is complete and clear, and He says to all today,

COME, FOLLOW ME.

Don’t you know that the whole bible can be summarized into that 3 words of the Lord Jesus Christ?

Oh OK, thanks. Have a good one.

How will that verse save you? What must you do to be saved?
“How will that verse save you? “

“the verse “ won’t save me . Accepting what jesus said in the verse is what he said will save people. It’s also what many other Scriptures have to say in the Bible

Like …..all the prophets

“To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭10:43‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Like Jesus the only begotten son of god

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“What must you do to be saved?”

“and brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.

And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭16:30-34‬ ‭KJV‬‬

…^^^That’s why I quoted this ¥¥¥

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;

but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus tells us how people will be saved in the gospel and how others will be damned. It’s a good position to accept that he’s right …..then we could talk about other things like learning from Jesus and applying his teachings bit first gotta believe the simple stuff like “ believing the gospel of Jesus Christ is the source of salvation then one needs to repent and follow him like the apostle Paul taught in his epistles and like Jesus taught in his Bible en words in the gospel

“And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:35‬ ‭

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:12‬ ‭

were meant to put our trust in Jesus through hearing the gospel as we do that we begin to learn what to do and not do from the gospel ….trusting Jesus to keep the promises he made to believers for salvation

John6-37s.png

John 6 v 37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.
:)

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

This he said, signifying what death he should die.”
‭‭John‬ ‭12:32-33‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

….Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; that they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭17:6, 9, 20-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“the verse “ won’t save me . Accepting what jesus said in the verse is what he said will save people. It’s also what many other Scriptures have to say in the Bible

The Living Christ Jesus has not yet said anything to you, what you have accepted are biblical verses, which are allegedly utterance of Jesus and maybe true or may not be true. Is the bible the Lord Jesus?

were meant to put our trust in Jesus through hearing the gospel as we do that we begin to learn what to do and not do from the gospel ….trusting Jesus to keep the promises he made to believers for salvation

Jesus is alive and real and we have to trust Him by what He will tell us to obey and to put into practice until the end hence the need to come to and call on the Lord, and listen to and follow Him by what we’ll hear and learn from Him when He responds.

Where in the utterances of Jesus did He say ‘trust me through hearing the gospel,” don’t you think it’s just your opinion and your advocacy of bibliolatry?

You should have quit while you were tolerable--before the last sentence.
