I didn't know Americans traveled outside their own country

It's a long ways to most countries from here.

not so long here, but expensive... and you mostly have to get to the bigger cities if you want to go overseas

Would you fly or take a ship to go overseas?

Mostly fly, otherwise it takes too long. You can evrn drive from here and quite far south in Europe, but that takes some time

So our convention doesn't need to be in a coastal city?

nope. But (once I have the money) I must be able to get there by plane/ train if I am to attend.

Well, I guess we have this narrowed down to Great Britain. You probably know more about Great Britain than I do. We've mentioned London and Dublin, so far. Where should this be held?

I am pretty sure both places have huge airports, so that shouldn't be a problem.(Apart from the fact that I'll get lost unless someone meets me at the airport )

Give yourself plenty of time so you can find your way around.
Then you'll need to find a taxi.
Then you'll need to find your motel.
It would be easier if we all stayed at the same motel/hotel, an affordable one, perhaps.
It would help if the motel/hotel had a large room for us all to get together in.
We'd want an affordable nearby restaurant and/or grocery store.

Do you think a lot of people would come to a Christian Chat convention held in London or Dublin? If there were a lot of people involved, there might be be special rates.

nah, I think there are too many Americans here. But maybe those from Europe and the UK would come

It depends on what time of year and what day of the week it is that the prices are lower.

yeah. Last time I checked airline tickets they were super expensive.
