Satan is busy trying to deceive humanity or keep them ignorant of Christ, and he's had a lot of success of blinding people to the light of the gospel.
The reason why we can't just find 1 Illuminati organization on earth and get rid of it collectively is because the real conspiracy is occurring in the spiritual realm, and Satan has many organizations on Earth capable of doing his bidding. God has allowed Satan to deceive, Satan is capable of giving people false visions and new age false NDE experiences. The deception is occurring at such a level that eventually THE ENTIRE WORLD will be entirely deceived. There is a spiritual, non-physical aspect of this conspiracy, and Satan can plan events in your life to make it appear as if you are going crazy. You have to remember Angels are currently more robust and more intelligent than humans, and in the spiritual realm they can tell what you're thinking by watching your body language and observing you.
Thankfully, he's on a leash, but it's important to remember that the conspiracy is essentially a spiritual battle. Until the day of the Lord where God quarantines Satan, he's still able to go to great lengths to deceive.
