I was reading about the church state in Europe 200 yrs ago , they were calling the clergy and Protestant churches apostates!

Meh, that was just the catholics.

I got a comment on why people are leaving churches too. Not just Mormons. Now people are giving a waters down non biblical gospel of like this " Jesus wants to give you a abundant life and peace. Or a better life. Or just using the love technique. Thing is when people receive and life gets hard and things a happen in their lives well guess who is blamed, God -Jesus. So hearts grow cold and the dog returns to its own vomit. People need to get the truth. Like Jesus did. Expose the main issue.Sin. they need to know in there conscious mind that they are in wrath the way they are and headed straight for hell. Which makes the cross gratitude. So many false converts. Go to Jesus cause your sad. Go to Jesus for addictions. Go to Jesus for abundant Life. And they're off worse than before. It's sad. Makes me fear for people I think the setup for the Antichrist and the great fall away way is all happening at the same time.

I agree. Those who leave were never truly saved in the first place. Jesus told the parable of the sower to explain the reasons why people never get the reality of salvation. It is what I call "Christianism". The foundation is like sand and the "house" will fall sooner or later.

I have a book called" the way of the master" now I'm glad I stuck with my faith and really sight the Lord. This book talks about the false teachings unbiblical. A better life. People buy it. Think they are saved,live a constant backslider. And are worse off"dog returning to its own vomit. They get more calloused against God. It's sad. I was one for a long time. Now I understand about how repentance is a must. Spurgeon talked a lot about the law so did Paul. It's the backbone of the gospel. This book talks about preaching the law to make the conscience aware of sin. Preaching hell. What Christ did to save us from it. It can make real converts. I won't say names but a lot of people know who does all this better life and I am preaching. God help us..And thanks be to the Lord He showed me the truth and the fruit of the spirit is there. Done with a lot of strongholds. I understand a lot more and what true joy is. I be a obedient child best as I can and don't do many certain things ,I'm just very grateful and I want more people to experience what Jesus is all about and feel this inner peace of salvation no one can steal. Just had to share. Peace out

I thank God that he gave me abundant life and a changed life.
My life is night and day better.

You got it backwards.
If I am intimately in love with God, and obsessed with Him, I WILL NOT SIN.
Your God holds a whip and chains to keep the sheep in line.
Condemn them into being disciplined.
A "fear of hell" method, to keep them beat down and fearful to step out of line.

Are you a cessationist also.

Interesting thought I would add to that that I believe that part of the influence of antichrist in the church is going to be coming through an Insidious false Doctrine and I can cite one that would fit that bill which would be Hebrew Roots movement we believe that followers of Jesus even gentiles should be under the Mosaic law or they are sinning because they are not following it.

This is a crazy idea given the nature of Jesus's message and Paul's teachings however the people who are teaching these doctrines have a very good introduction by suggesting "are you a person that just isn't getting enough out of your spiritual growth out of your church here let us show you why"

In addition if you have not been steeped in some form of theological construct such as Covenant, dispensationalism, biblical even at the very basics ( and I am not suggesting these are perfect theologies myself, only that if you understand them you will see the LIE Hebrew roots) then you will easily fall for the Hebrew roots trap.

The predominant reason is that they are discovering the truth about the foundations of their church especially their founder and prophet Joseph Smith for two reasons. People want to hear what their ears itch for. Some places don't want to speak up and lose people in their church. Some people don't want to repent in a sincere way. Some people are just their to socialize. Some are outward but empty. I prayed one of the most sincere prayers and still pray it, May I have the strength to be noble Lord?.. And in Romans "The love of Christ compells me when you see you can't even fathom such a great love and you deserve the very bottom of hell and how little which is almost nothing you are to the vast unending universe,so it appears and you are in the Lords thoughts? And care? And also with you? That is a game changer there. And even the worst person on earth now lives because of Grace. WOW !! People need to wake up and strengthen the feeble bones man!!
