The sweet smell of lilacs.
A sunset over the ocean.
The fury of a hurricane.
The danger in a potion.

Careless as a child.
Curious as a cat.
Reckless as a tornado.
Blind as a bat.

Lilacs quickly die.
The sun eventually goes down.
The hurricane leaves but a breeze.
In the potion you can not drown.

Carelessness becomes concern.
Curiosity is too quickly quenched.
Recklessness is long forgotten.
Away all blindness is wrenched.​
