8. for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9. not of works, that no man should glory. 10. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God afore prepared that we should walk in them.(Ephesian 2:810)

So the one which do the works of righteousness is a work of God, but the one which avoid to do the works of righteousness do not know God, still live according to the flesh.

So bend your heart to the selfless act's of the righteousness.

You seem to have missed the main intent! The works of righteousness are to be God's work in us who are saved without works.

Ephesians 1:3-14
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 4even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love 5he predestined us[SUP]b[/SUP] for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, 6to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. 7In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, 8which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight 9making known[SUP]c[/SUP] to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ 10as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.

11In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, 12so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory. 13In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, 14who is the guarantee[SUP]d[/SUP] of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it,[SUP]e[/SUP] to the praise of his glory.

But if we are the work of God, we do the righteousness, it is the inspiration of the Spirit in us, if the Spirit has find a space on us, but if have not, we do not know the will of God, and the Spirit won't lead us, instead we follow our own desires, doing what we pleas to do, like the gentiles do whom do no know God.

And what good we may receive for that?

It is the big false doctrine of today, that we do not have to do the works of righteousness to stay in the Lord Jesus Christ.

6. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also to walk even as he walked. (1 John 2:6)

Paul was a apostle, and a good one, but still he writes that he was not yet sure about his salvation, but you teach that every man should be like sure about they salvation, if they just have confess that they believe in the Lord Jesus.

Don't you see what this kind of teaching has already do in this world, because we are in situation where many, and many christians just sit and do nothing and invoking doctrines like that.

And will they be saved?

It is written that few will be those which will finally find in the life, so the responsible exhortation should be strive to do your best, to serve God.

Ephesian 2:810. is about that no one should boast with works, but it is not about that we should leave the works.

the biggest cult on the internet here is "saved without works TO STAY/BE A COUCH POTATO" .....

to which Jesus will say "be gone from Me" on judgment day......

This just shows how blind you really are...actually the ones who he tells to get lost are the ones who brag and boast of their works....the ones who think their right to enter is based upon what they HAVE DONE...you should try studying the bible in context as it would help you get over yourself!

you can't understand english, and you try to understand Scripture ?

i said specifically the biggest cult "on the internet" (here)(on the forum)....

i haven't seen anyone , especially not the ones you falsely accuse, and are judged for doing,

claim any privilege from God nor from man for their WORKS or what they have done ..... yet you keep falsely accusing them
of doing that.... and many other errors we won't go into unless yahweh says to....
\
you keep repeating your errors. over and over again, in front of everyone. (and most importantly , and the only one who counts, in front of God)

HAHA that is rich coming from you and means about as much as the boot scrapings after I come out of the chicken coop....you keep boasting in your righteous works, deeds and supposed sinless state, and I will keep boasting in the faith of Christ and we will see at the end of the day who gets in and who gets cast.....

Ephesian 2:810. is about that no one should boast with works, but it is not about that we should leave the works.

Actually to studying more that Ephesian 2, it seems that this means, that God saves, or reach people's trough mercy, and not because of what they have do, or good works of them, but because of the mercy of him for the man.

But after he had wakes us, we start to do good, because that's why he has wake us, for the good works in the Lord Jesus Chris.

So if some one clam that he is in the Lord Jesus Christ, but don't does the works of righteous, the some on most like lie, and do not know God.

29. If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one also that doeth righteousness is begotten of him. (1 John 2:29)

Sadly I have seen this argument many times. Let me ask this if you really are saved say that you have God's spirit burning inside you do you think that would make it where you instinctively do God's works or not? Actually what are (works)? Are they the actions one takes alone? or perhaps are they also the changing inside ones heart?

Ppl argue all the time about works and salvation when the fact is if you do not know God's heart if you do not know what he desires what he feels then how can you ever do the works we are called to do? Works is not simply helping the poor and needy it is not simply doing what we are commanded. it isn't the action that matters it's the heart behind the action.

We do works because we are saved because God molds our hearts into his own because we love and care for all his children not because it is required to be saved. The mark of a true believer is love and love is what motivates us to do works in the first place. You can do works of righteousness all you want but God is looking at the heart and motive behind those works, that is what makes all the difference that is what makes one a true child of God

It seems evident that any godly works that come from man are the result of Jesus doing the work through the individual as a living sacrifice....The life I now live I live through the faith OF JESUS CHRIST...He is the one doing the works...we yield unto the Spirit and the truth and Christ does the work.....that is why works of righteousness will never save anyone and why we have no right to brag or boast of our works..........

this guy gets it:D

Salvation is a gift! There are many people who feel that they need to work for their salvation or that they will receive it because they're good. But this is not the case. Our salvation could only be accomplished by Jesus' death on the cross, and He offers his sacrifice to us as a free gift. There is no room for boasting on our part, since any of us have to do is reach out and receive the gift. Salvation is a gift that comes by the "grace of God"- His unmerited favor toward us, through which He shows us His love regardless of our imperfections. Although our salvation will ultimately make a difference in how we live, that is not the criterion for receiving it. Salvation is a gift, pure and simple, and one so great that would never been able to afford it on our own. All we have to do is accept it!:)

by grace God reach us, but who say that he stays in the Lord, should live as he lived, but if someone clam that he stays in the Lord, but do not do the righteousness, the someone, most likely lie to him self, and God's grace do not effecting in him.

I believe that this our dear brother Paul's letters has rice some confusion also in past time's, and that's why our dear brother James possibly has write this next part of the letter

20. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith apart from works is barren? 21. Was not Abraham our father justified by works, in that he offered up Isaac his son upon the altar? 22. Thou seest that faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect; 23. and the scripture was fulfilled which saith, And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned unto him for righteousness; and he was called the friend of God. 24. Ye see that by works a man is justified, and not only by faith. (Jame 2:20-24)

And you have to understand, that our dear brother Paulos was never intention to write against good works. And as we know he was the apostle which was doing the work probably, more than anyone, and he was an example for the others, calling people's to follow the example of him.

So it is absurd to claim, that he was teaching against the good works, in Lord Jesus Christ.

10. But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not found vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. (1 Corinthians 15:10)

Above our dear brother Paulos tells about his works in Christ, but he also tells that the works are not from him, but the grace of God, which was with him.

And it is also for me, like it was in our brother Paulos, that the grace of God makes me do what I do.

At this stage in your walk with God, what works are you doing that is keeping you from becoming disapproved of God? What are the good works of God that we are to maintain to keep us from not being given the gift of salvation and eternal life? Do you spend more time confessing and repenting of sin or of not doing works meet for repentance unto salvation? What work of righteousness places the believer in Christ when he hears the gospel and believes it? Is it a work of faith or some other work? To keep himself in Christ, what works does he have to continue to do? Will the believer ever have the ability to rest in the finished work of Christ in this life and enjoy his salvation knowing that he was saved by grace through faith and not of himself through any works on his part, lest he boast in those works?
