My wife comes in just the right combination of super hot femininity and kick the crap out of you spitfire keep me in line awesomeness. Some of you tough guys she would reduce to a whimpering puppy peeing all over yourself. Haha. I love her just the way she is and has many traits that are far superior. Where I lack she excels. Where she lacks...I keep my mouth shut and love her just the way she is.

Aren't you sweet, Sirk. I love the way you describe your wonderful wife. I know you will you say that you are the blessed one, but she sounds blessed to have you as her husband that says all this wonderful things about her:)

I just said something really nice to a wonderful man who loves his wife and God has blessed him with her and vice versa. I don't appreciate a wonderful compliment being torn apart. His relationship between him and his wife is just between the two of them and God and it is not our place to say whether it is not biblical. May God Bless you, sir

It's okay. I'm not offended. I appreciate you sticking up for me. Us sane people need to stick together. Lol ...besides Jeff doesn't like me cuz I'm a threat to his comfy little worldview.

As Christians we need to be praising marriage and those people that say wonderful things about their spouses because divorce is so prevalent in today's society and our younger generations need to know we need to speak of spouses in a positive light without any negative comments being brought into it. And what you said was beautiful

Amen. Whatever is pure, lovely praiseworthy etc. think on these things. My wife wants to serve me because I do my best to serve her first.

you and he both completely disregarded and denied
what Scripture says of a good husband and a good wife. (even of a good woman)...

his description of his own life, himself, and his wife is very much contrary to

what God says plainly in scripture.

but if y'all don't care... that's yours to deal with...

I loved this. Women should want to serve and not because they feel obligated to. I think of the time Christ washed the disciples feet because he wanted to serve them. I am also reminded of Ruth and Naomi that Ruth was an obedient daughter in law of Naomi and did everything she could to make Naomi's life easier even though she was not tied to her anymore. Because of Ruth's obedience and humility God abundantly blessed her with Boaz. I desire to be obedient in everything and want to God's blessing in my life as he promised each of his children all throughout the bible.

God is not a tyrant and these men who act like he is are fools. God is compassionate and generous with us. So should we be towards our wives. I think the lord has someone special for you.

It was hard fought to get where we are. Blending a family is the hardest thing I have ever done. My wife is amazing and I just love her soooo much.
