There were certain rules that proselytes, ie, gentile believers, had to follow in order to attend the Jewish synagogues. Those rules given by James were to prevent them from offending their synagogue hosts and thereby lose access to scripture. It has nothing to do with Christian behavior apart from that situation.
The apostles explanation in Acts 15 to the claim that the Gentiles needed to be circumcised
and obey the law. Was simply a rejection of that claim. Peter said we were saved by grace.

As for the ordinances given to the Gentile churches one could certainly see the attempt.
Made by the apostles to clean up the filthy Gentile behavior that horrified the Jews.

The Gentiles could certainly seek out a synagogue but not while mentioning Jesus Christ.

So the take away from Acts 15 is no circumcision for the Gentiles, and no law for the Gentiles,
except for sexual immorality.

We are always covered by the grace of Jesus. Those baptized into Christ are in covenantal relationship with him. They don't fall in and out of the covenant. They may not walk in the spirit and fall out of fellowship, but they are still in Christ where there is no condemnation.
can some one have faith and believe = resulting in a saved relationship. but later choose to not believe and walk away from Christ = resulting in a lost condition? Once saved always saved is a doctrine of the devil.

Believers in Christ, gentile and Jewish, were permitted in the synagogues because it was at first just considered another sect. Later they were kicked out and had to form their own gatherings

God-control is not a fruit of the spirit; self-control is
so who gets the glory for your actions?
Can you do good?
We make the choice but we are unable without the help.... help of the Holy Spirit. We are slaves to sin but by the power of God we can be set free. We have to choose to follow God and obey Him but it is only by His strength that we can choose to do that.

God does not force us but enables us if we allow Him to. We need to depend on God to save us.
Psa 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;

So why did you say G1380?

As for G1378, this word is used a number of times in the New Testament.

More often the translation of G1378 is "decree".

Ephesians 2:15 (KJV)
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in decrees to make in himself
of twain one new man, so making peace.

All unrighteousness is sin, even things not mentioned in the law

All unrighteousness is sin: and there is sin not unto death. 1 John 5:17
Yes!

And Christ, not the Law, is the standard of our righteousness.

“But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.”

We must never think that because of something we do that we are allowed to stand righteous before God. To the question “What gives you the right to call God your Father?” our answer can only be “Because I, by the Holy Spirit, was placed into Christ.”

Who gets the glory? I honestly don't ever consider that. Yes I can do good because I am informed by the spirit and word and I will to do good. God has given us his strength in the holy spirit

There is nothing in God's creation that condemns us except our own conscience when we err
i agree that there is no formal law but there was sin, It may not have been written on stone but God must of made it known to them our they could not be held guilty of sin.
our conscience is the Holy Spirit reminding us of what is right and wrong.
Sin is the transgression of the law. We do not understand how it was made known to the people in the begining but it was a sin to murder and lie and steal and covet from the start. Adam loved Eve more then he loved God and Adam sinned.
Exo 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Exo 20:17 Thou shalt not covet.

my perfection is found in Christ
Justified before the Judge i will have no sin against my name. By faith in Christ i am able to stand without fault or blemish.

but i have a war agaist self. the flesh is constantly trying to have it's way. If i was perfect i would never give in to the flesh, and i wish that was the case and aim for that to be the case, But i am humble enough to admit it is not the case. I'm in the process of being sanctified by faith in Christ.

Are you perfect before you confess and repent?
Luk 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Rev_3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
1Jn_1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Well TMS, if your receiving the gifts that Jesus offers then there is no room. For anyone to claim
that they played some part in their own salvation.

Whether or not you get forgiveness because you confessed is not related to how salvation
is given to us.

The scripture is clear that salvation is a gift given to those that believe in Jesus.

Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him
from the dead, you will be saved.

The way you choose to live your Christian life is a matter for another day.

Don't confuse the two as literally everyone does.

All unrighteousness is sin ..

The forum is about the sabbath. The weekly sabbath day. Is it unrighteous to disobey the 4th commandment that God said to remember?
No it's not unrighteous for me to do whatever I want on Saturdays because I always am aware that God is there sanctifying me, which was the sole purpose of the 4th commandment, ie rest from physical labor to know that God is sanctifying Israel. I on the other hand continually strive to rest from works of the flesh and law by putting my trust in God that he is sanctifying me through his indwelling spirit. If you think not being normal on Saturdays is sin, then to you it is sin.

Jesus' entire ministry laid out the covenant conditions
I would pay close attention to Paul's instructions that way you avoid adopting
some form of legalism. Which seems to happen when people build a doctrinal
base on the gospels.

Excel in Paul's letters then visit the gospels later on that is a much easier way
to travel.

For the Jews most definitely but not for the Gentiles.

Gentiles were never in covenant to obey the law.

Well TMS, if your receiving the gifts that Jesus offers then there is no room. For anyone to claim

all glory to Christ ................................
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

We are told to crucify the flesh. and die to self, and God does not force us to do that. we have a choice as to who sits on the throne in our life (of our hearts).

If you don't want to watch the u-tube thats your loss, but it isn't about the animals it is about us. People were asked to keep it holy.
God made it for us.
Mar 2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
Mar 2:28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
