Meaning to me:

We wont be accepted by our friends, family, and likely even people we fellowship with if the daystar rises in our hearts.

Hello brother. I'm a big fan of Tozier and I understand his point but this is only part of the message. I do recognize there are times in our Christian walk that we do walk alone before God and for good reason. But we were made with an inward desire for the company of both God and our fellow man.
It is a fair point that one truly devoted to God will have a smaller pool of companions to choose from, there are many fellow believers available in our time. And while a relationship with God will of necessity cause a change and even an end to some relationships, Jesus assured his followers new and better relationships will develop.
Another of Tozier's statements that surprised me was when he said, and I'm grossly paraphrasing, that those who said they were satisfied when fellowship was isolated to simply God were merely expressing what they thought ought to be. I'll freely admit to holding such a view in times past. But having applied myself to the study of Psalm 23 and having God graciously manifest its reality in my life, I can without equivocation say that there is a relationship hidden in Christ with the Father that is completely satisfyingly in and of itself.
I'm not sure of your circumstances or walk with God though through your posts you seem to enjoy a vibrant worship life and communion with God. But I would like to encourage you that when God isolates His children to Himself, He has done so to enlarge your experience of Him. I can think of no greater joy this side of glory.

Response: I appreciate you taking the time to say this to me. It shows you care!

Hello brother. I'm a big fan of Tozier and I understand his point but this is only part of the message. I do recognize there are times in our Christian walk that we do walk alone before God and for good reason. But we were made with an inward desire for the company of both God and our fellow man.

R. Tozer makes that exact point that we long for human fellowship and gave several examples in the Bible of men that were alone because of their close relationship with God. i wish I could find other Christians that feel the same way I do, that they love Him dearly and they have experienced His overwhelming love. I went to find out if there was anyone at any time that have that relationship with God. In the current time probably John Piper has that relationship, maybe others contemporaries but they are not accessible for fellowship. When i read St John of the cross, i recognize his relationship is similar but far deeper than mine is. There are many others.

R. Its hard and probably very hard to believe anyone can have a relationship with God that is like the marriage relationship between a man and a woman, but i know it It can be true. When I write poems i can see that they are very sentimental. They are written with the purpose of saying to anyone who reads them that they can have that relationship too. I have a need (not just our Master) for others to love and be loved by Him. So I reveal the personal things (i am getting over the embarrassment finally) of my relationship with Him with that purpose.

It is a fair point that one truly devoted to God will have a smaller pool of companions to choose from, there are many fellow believers available in our time. And while a relationship with God will of necessity cause a change and even an end to some relationships, Jesus assured his followers new and better relationships will develop.

R. What has happened as I love Him more and I understand His great love for me intensifies, i think no one can understand it. Probably think i am a bit off!

R. The most recent Church fellowship i was in ended up (all the details are TMI) pastor shoving me down the hallway and saying “I never want to see your face again” I think because they suspect my motives and don’t understand where i am coming from. That would make me exactly like my Master when He was on earth. Now I also think about St Francis….to understand rather than being understood, i got it backwards for a while.

R. Without TMI i am pretty certain going to other fellowships would end in the same end. He will cause me to say things that are not heretical but goes against the grain….just one example: I said many times at the church i was kicked out of that we should accept other Christians from any denomination if they love Him (and have the major foundations of the faith)

R. I have asked for meeting with pastor at 4 other churches. I have included one or more poems so they could understand where i was comming from. Nothing heard. Probably Masters guidance He does not want me to go to other church fellowships. I dont realy want to go through the pain which is likely to occur (unless He wishes) I do go to church on Sunday to support my daughter (recent Christian) but does not equal close fellowship.

R. Yes you understand what i am saying

R. We both say the same thing.

He sees me every second, never forgets me, loves me with great tenderness and with great intensity, maybe He will let me have fellowship with a person with a similar relationship to Him!
