Also of importance to this study is that, within the book of Revelation there are two riders on white horses mentioned one at the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] seal and the other in Rev.19:11-21. Below is a comparison of the characteristics of both riders:
Rider on the White Horse of Rev.6:1-2:
Rider on the White Horse of Rev.19:11-21
First of all, we can deduce by the comparison of their characteristics that they are definitely not the same riders. Another identifying factor is that John does not introduce the rider in Rev.19:11 as being the same rider at the opening of the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] seal. Satan is the great imitator of God, his version being counterfeit. That said, I submit that this rider on the white horse at the first seal is a counterfeit of the Lord Jesus, the rider of the white horse in Rev.19:11. Regarding this, remember that the word “antichrist” is defined as either "one who puts himself in the place of, or the enemy (opponent) of the Messiah, a pseudo Christ."
