Since the beginning of mankind we have had the sense to worship. The very most isolated parts of the Earth that held a human population can be found living with some sense of a higher power.

We are soulish beings and spiritually connected to our creator. Out of the many beliefs or objects mankind has worshipped, the one thing in common is the evident need that all mankind share. And that need is to find spiritual wholeness. It also isnt ironic that all these tribes or Civilizations all felt a need to atone and make good with their god or gods which is also evident of our fallin human nature.

Romans 1:20 New International Version (NIV)
20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

People throughout history have responded to these invisible qualities and all those who have never heard of the law or even of Jesus is still without excuse as God judges them differently based on conscience or the moral law (Romans 2:14-15) which is also universally self evident.

True I agree with this and would add this verse:

John 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

We were/ are created to worship and have fellowship with Him!

A/E were put in the garden to do this but bc of deception and unbelief sin entered and separated that fellowship!

That breath of life in us knows the purpose of our being, therefore if Jesus isn't shared people WILL worship........someone else or something.

[11] That all may be judged who have not believed the truth, but have consented to iniquity. [12] But we ought to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, beloved of God, for that God hath chosen you firstfruits unto salvation, in sanctification of the spirit, and faith of the truth: [13] Whereunto also he hath called you by our gospel, unto the purchasing of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. [14] Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle. [15] Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God and our Father, who hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation, and good hope in grace,

Most popular is the worship of self.

I agree!
It's definetly a tragedy that people cannot be directed to God and worship of Him.
Our self love will be the cause of many entering into hell even though Jesus has provided a more sure way for us to access heaven!
