In the old days most everyone grew gardens but the usa's waters became more and more polluted, they began telling people they couldn't use their water wells anymore and set up water depts. and so now in 2022 well...

In post #556 I mentioned the "punishment bill" which is the rate we pay if you go over X amount of gallons a month trying to water a garden or your lawn. So they've already got us because they took gardening at home out of the equation which takes away our ability to raise food(gardens, livestock ect.) It's really simple math I tried to water a 1500 square foot garden last month and after a 211 dollar h20 bill it's still dying. In the math it takes about 3 acres of good arable land to grow enough food for one person so how much to water 3 acres 3 or 4 thousand dollars? So it's not real for anyone to think that when that day comes and everyone is faced with farming for a living they will be able to do it.

The thread is "the shortage are you preparing?" and in all truth the ones who really are are the ones who already were. In the story of Joseph in Egypt there were 7 good years followed by 7 bad years. It's still the same story today as then in that those who canned the things they grew across the last 7 years have food to eat and those who didn't do not. Now my garden is drying up the same as everyone's but I'm no longer going to water this one. The farms are in a drought or not growing for one reason or another https://www.cnn.com/2022/05/12/politics/us-farmers-drought-food-prices-inflation/index.html and their putting restriction devices on water hogs already https://www.latimes.com/environment...device-stops-water-hogs-in-their-soggy-tracks ...So it's a done deal because they had everyone talk about solar panels and things to buy like Rambo and led them away from the very one thing that makes the food supply tick,,,,,water and how to irrigate enough land to live on.
Preparing for the Lord's return does not mean setting up a garden, or storing food in a shed. That type of thinking is not paying attention to Revelation.

They will come door to door to find people who are not jabbed with their tracking device, the Mark of the Beast.

If you go out into public they will see that you do not have a tracker on you and will pick you up.

There will be no way to hide from this and that is of God.

The only way to prepare for what is coming is to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ and to walk in obedience to His word. The church will be raptured before the tribulation and there are some very interesting Biblical exegesis that say the tribulation begins this fall.

Those who are left behind are not right with the Lord. They will have to repent of that, get themselves right, and then go through the tribulation. Starving to death is not something that happens to the faithful believers of Jesus Christ. If you are a faithful believer who has gotten themself right with the Lord your destiny will probably be to be martyred because you refuse to take the mark of the Beast.

They must not have gotten the memo about not talking about this

my kids are patiently waiting for some attention, so I'll have to keep this brief (and try to remember to come back to it later)....

but I will say this:
I've noticed the creatures in our yard (birds, squirrels chipmunks, just to name a few) are busier gathering and storing right now than I have ever noticed them being in past years.
Great observation and we can learn so much from that.

Well not that I disagree totally but that's why I mentioned the title of the thread (the OP) in my last post because it was about everyone hording toilet paper and stuff at the beginning of the pandemic but somehow the thread has moved to an end of the world scenario. I guess the things you speak of would worry me if they could actually track us with cell phones and such but so far the upgrade to 5G was actually a downgrade from 4G because most of the day T mobile(only carrier in my area) cant keep me connected. I think from trying to get a signal on road trips it drops out about half the way from here to Houston. Anywhere around Angelina national forest and you wont get any signal at all to make calls, internet ect. so the booger man would really need to speed up on any high tech surveillance stuff if he plans on keeping track of all us with it. Anyway first they need to get signals to everyone which they cant seem to master at the present moment in time and then move on to what your referring to.

Wow, seeing is believing

It is stunning that a country with so much going for it could go bankrupt so fast. The incompetence and corruption is mind boggling.

it looks like a desert on one side and green trees on the other,,,In Texas I live about 35-40 minute drive from the Louisiana border in the big thicket, It hasn't rained in so long(2-3 times this year 1/2 inch each time) and so we spend most time in the house. I walked outside tonight and around the fence, the oak trees are going dormant and dropping all there leaves like it's fall already. I noticed under them there were small branches all over the ground like a strong wind blew them down but looking at them I realized the squirrels chewed them all off where the acorns would be growing. The hickory trees still have leaves(deeper tap root) but out of 8 trees none of them have nuts. out of 6 azalea bushes(6 foot) two have no leaves and are probably dead the others cannot draw moister up at night and drop their leaves in the next few days. The insects are going nuts looking for water and so the harvester ants have attacked the few remaining things we were gardening, lost 3 watermelon plants last night they cut the leaves off and then cut the vines up into pieces neem oil or not if you water it they attack it every night. The centipedes,June bugs, moths ect. keep stopping up the drain in my AC(searching for water) and so we had to shut it off and wash them all out 5 times so far....

I am living in a major city and do not see issues with food supply, although prices have increased.

(Oct 16 2021) They keep telling us there is a shortage coming. I haven't seen it yet locally but somewhere along the line people are gonna realize the holidays are upon us and they are out of luck. I just sense that we are in for some hard times ahead in America, like hasn't been seen in years.
They're still telling us 'shortages ahead' and I still haven't seen them.

I remember during early COVID times there were some shortages. It was hard to find rice, water, toilet paper, cleaning items, and some other items I don't remember now. I just had to eat some other stuff and make do. People hoarding was what created the shortage. I actually know someone who managed to get 6 months worth of toilet paper.

I remember even all the small Kleenex packets were gone.

I saw a comical piece on the TP shortage. A man came home to a garage full of tp and his wife asked, "Did you forget the groceries again?"

it happens on the farms first and then it hits the stores and then the news....
