.
The Masoretic Text version of Amos 9:12 (which is what the KJV uses) and the Septuagint version of that verse are not even close. James quote in Acts 15 matches the Septuagint version, so I don't know what the point of your comment was.
If you would like another example that the KJV is not perfect, I direct you to Zechariah 14:5. This is the Masoretic Text version (which the KJV uses).
And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Zechariah 14:5, King James Version
And this is the Septuagint version, which all evidence indicates is the correct version.
The valley between the hills will be filled in, yes, it will be blocked as far as Jasol [Azal], it will be filled in as it was by the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Zechariah 14:5, New Jerusalem Bible

azal + yasul for the evidence. It's too much for me to go into here.
Hi,
I would like to present three (3) things of my observations on what you previously posted and to the above statements or posts.
1.
You are not a BIBLE Critic. Your above statements prove that you are not a Bible Critic at all, not even a clone of it or the shadow of it. In reality, you are just following (innocently) the blind guides that will fall into a ditch. But what you are doing right now is only a mere guesswork unsupported by no evidence wherein you failed to do that even in your first post on this thread. You didn’t even come up well with your presentation. As said, you are not a Bible Critic as I supposed. You didn’t fully grasped or understand why I made mentioned on my previous post about some errors of a Bible Critic makes. You fail to be a Bible Critic. You’re even unaware that in the “Science of Biblical Criticism” has developed a number of rules to accomplish its aim and in the forefront the
textual critic must be a trained scholar. The emphasis upon scholarship is one of the hallmarks of this “science falsely so called” and it effectively sets a class of system forcing Christian to rely upon the (human) scholar in order to believe the word of God. You are even unaware the bible says in this regards to these “men of high degree.”
1 Timothy 6:20 Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane
and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
Psalms 62:9 Surely men of low degree
are vanity,
and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they
are altogether
lighter than vanity.
Plain and simple
, you did not able to present any Greek or Hebrew languages, only the readings of it and trying to forced me into thinking that the KJV is in error because it does not follow the reading the Hebrew Masoretic text where it is supposed but did match the LXX. This is in the case of Acts 15 and the prophecy of Amos. Your gross error is that you fail to understand the proper context of the bible, whereas James quoted it as in agreement of what the prophets’ words. “In agreement” does not oblige to follow the exact rendition of what is written by the prophet. FYI, the KJV is translated out of the “original tongues” with previous translation diligently compared.

2.The Hebrew Masoretic Text as Tradition. Here is another gross mistake. Your flawed logic is that because it is Jewish, it is a Tradition. By saying that you equate the O.T. Text, a no longer scriptures and who am I to believe you. I put the scriptures above traditions. Christ quoted it. Christ mentioned the LAW, the PROPHETS and the PSALMS referring to the Old Testament.
Luke 24:44 And he said unto them, These
are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and
in the prophets, and
in the psalms, concerning me.
In Romans 3:1-2 declares that the Oracles of God were committed unto whom?
“What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit
is there of circumcision?
Much every way: chiefly, because that
unto them were committed the oracles of God.”
I give heed to what the scriptures says and already given up the traditions of the Roman Catholic.
3.
The NJB, a not Final Authority. As expected, your NJB is not your final Authority. I wish you could come up with your final authority, since I am defending with my Final Authority. I don’t play tricks here. You are so quick to point some seeming mistakes on the KJV but you fail to point the many serious omissions of your NJB. Your NJB does omit 15 entire verses in the New Testament and many words in the Bible where you fail to correct that. Listed are the following for your further studies:
Matthew 17:21; 18:11; 23:14
Mark 9:44; 9:46; 11:26; 15:28
Luke 17:36; 23:17
Acts 8:37; 15:34; 24:7; 28:29
Romans 16:24
I John 5:7
And here are parting verses for you to keep.
1 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned
them;
2 Timothy 3: 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and
is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
