There is good evidence this was added in during the fourth century.
There is NO EVIDENCE that this was added. More baloney.
Your detailed rebuttal, so obviously based upon countless hours of objective painstaking research is truly inspiring!
In all fairness - you indicated the "for" - he indicated the "against" - [but] you did not actually provide any evidence to your claim [either], so...

I find oneness doctrine to be crazy. Who was Jesus praying to? The Bible clearly shows three persons in its presentation. And if the holy spirit is just dead Jesus then who appeared in the form of a dove at Jesus' baptism? The major verse of oneness doctrine is important because it is "hear oh Israel the Lord our God is one lord". But the Hebrew for God is "Gods." It's a perfect verse for the Trinity. Oneness began with Mormonism. It's a dirty heresy.

No, "your doctrine" violates every facet of the ecumenical creeds and you do not understand the creeds. If you did, you wouldnt be trying to make a doctrine of your own.
Enlightenment egalitarianism at its worst.
No, my doctrine is in agreement with the creeds for the most part.

Again, here are accusations without evidence.

Why doesn't anybody want to show their work?

People at this message board don't give evidence for their contentions...they just decry people as heretics and think that such is going to deter others from believing the truth.

However, in that you consider me to be a heretic, I am in good company with Paul the apostle (Acts 24:14 (kjv)).

Bit of a study can be found Here for those interested on this...
In 16 pages I did not see one reference to scripture in order to substantiate his point of view. I stopped looking after 16 pages.

I would suggest studying the OP for a moment. There, I show how Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are distinct from one another and yet also one Person.

Eph 3:3, How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
Eph 3:4, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

John 14:31

But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave Me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

Well looky there. On the night of the last supper before He was arrested to be crucified for blasphemy, He said the Father gave Him commandment to do what He was about to suffer for us. The Father gave Him commandment. He was being obedient to the Father's commandments just as He prayed all through Psalm 119.

Well this thread has been worth the work even for that one verse alone not to mention all the others that were shared.

We as humans have a spirit. the old testament describes angels as having a spirit. it also describes animals spirits returning to the earth.

i dont claim to understand it. but if we are made in the image of God, maybe that is a clue. it says murder is wrong because we are destroying the image of God

I believe that people try to change gender because its like Jesus said, the lust of your father will ye do.
Satan hates the image of God and seeks to distort it.

He never asked. :D

Discussion is pretty rare on here, most like to stay in their silos.

Sorry, I'm too busy getting in my garden in during the day! Still loads left to do, although the veggies are all planted.

I'm disabled, but I still love digging in the soil and plants. It's is hard on me, and hurts. When I come inside, I just want to rest.

If you really want to know about the Trinity, I can post some excellent scholarly books for you to read. If you just stop making up stuff, I'm sure you could find some excellent material yourself!

But if you keep posting nonsense, I will continue with red Xs. If you don't like red Xs, then stop posting unscriptural, wrong doctrine, ok?
Since I am not posting anything unscriptural or nonsensical, you are offering accusations without evidence.

And excusing yourself because you want to work on a physical garden is a cop-out.

Which is more important, a garden in your backyard, or the garden of God?

I have gotten my understanding of the Trinity, not from books about the Trinity, but from an extensive reading of the Bible with the doctrine of the Trinity on the backburner of my thinking.

I think that your education makes you "wise and prudent"...

Therefore, I believe that Jesus was thankful to the Father for hiding the truth from you.

But He will reveal this doctrine to babes.

That seems strange to me...

You have the Holy Spirit because you preformed a "work"... Scripture says that's not how we come to Salvation.

You have a point of view - and might be convinced otherwise by Scripture? See, I try to allow Scripture to outline my point of view, the opposite way that you do things.

Well, good luck with all that...
Read it in Acts 2:38-39 (which is indeed scripture)...a conditional promise of receiving remission of sins and the gift of the Holy Ghost, the condition being repentance and baptism in Jesus' Name for the remission of sins.

Fulfill the condition, receive the promise.

Didn't you accuse someone else of Morman teachings? Calling Jesus "a God" is very much a Morman thing.
I do not believe that Jesus was eternally begotten; and therefore was not calling Jesus "a God" in my statements.

The idea that we need to "work" for Salvation and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is refuted by a host of Scripture that call on us to believe (too many to post):

Jn. 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Rom. 10:9 - Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Jn. 20:31 - But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

Jn. 5:24 - Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

1 Jn. 5:10 - Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son.

Jn. 17:20-23 - I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.

Jn. 7:29 - Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Eph. 1:13 - In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,

Gal. 3:2 -
This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?

Gal. 3:14 -
in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

I'm aware that there are also a lot of verses that show that water baptism was used - and I think that water baptism is an important part of obedience. However, it's the baptism of the Holy Spirit that's important, the thing that saves us -

Lk. 3:16 -
John answered and said to them all, “As for me, I baptize you with water; but One is coming who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to untie the thong of His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
As I said, because of such verses, I do not teach that baptism in Jesus' Name is the only way to receive remission of sins and the gift of the Holy Ghost.

However, what has not yet been answered is a comparison of Acts 2:39 and Romans 8:30.

He told Moses in Exodus 3:14

And Elohim said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and He said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

I AM which is translated from haYAH H1961 three times in the verse. He was saying His Name YAH or the Eternal 3 times in the verse. The sound of the word H1961 is haYAH which is also saying the YAH or the Eternal. YAH is the sound of Eternal and His Name. Translating it to "I AM" hides the sound of His Name YAH which He spoke to Moses.

Then in 3:15 He says

And Elohim said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, YHVH Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac, and the Elohim of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is My Name for ever, and this is My memorial unto all generations.

YHVH is YAHAVAH as explained in other threads and His Name forever as He says in this verse. YAHAVAH means Eternal Word and Eternal love. That is why knowing and using His real name is so important. It reveals Who He is and points to the Son Who is His Word.

You had to know that was coming. Disagree with him and suddenly you’re a natural man unable to receive things from the Spirit of God. And he wonders why he gets banned.
If what I am saying is from the Spirit of God, then to disagree with me is to not receive the things of the Spirit of God.

You have to ask yourself therefore whether what I am saying is scriptural.

I have given scripture to support my point of view; but no one has offered any scripture yet, in 254 posts, to contradict it.

Apply that to yourself. It may just be that the "naysayers", are spiritual and you are not. Considering that you are espousing heresy against what the body of Christ has held for near 2000 years. Its you.
I know that I have the Holy Ghost because I have fulfilled the condition to receive the promise of the Holy Ghost in Acts 2:38-39. If you have not fulfilled that condition, then you need to consider that maybe you are the natural man of 1 Corinthians 2:14.

He asked you five times and you consistently gave him a red x. Why did it take you so long to answer a simple question?
I only gave him red "x's" to give him a taste of his own medicine; because he was giving me red "x's".

And I gave them to him after the fact.

Remember those very words regarding people who disagree with you rather than referring to such people as natural men unable to receive things from the Spirit of God.
I wouldn't have a problem with them if they weren't also disagreeing with scripture and the testimony of the Holy Ghost.
