trump in 'the america we deserve'..."It’s often argued that the American murder rate is high because guns are more available here than in other countries. Democrats want to confiscate all guns, which is a dumb idea because only the law-abiding citizens would turn in their guns and the bad guys would be the only ones left armed. The Republicans walk the NRA line and refuse even limited restrictions."

this shows that trump supports 'limited restrictions'...of course once anyone concedes such 'limited restrictions' it is up to whoever is in power to determine what restrictions fall under the definition of 'limited'...the idea that it is ok to restrict our constitutional rights so long as the restrictions are limited shows a fundamental failure to understand the whole concept of the bill of rights...

also from 'the america we deserve'..."I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons and I support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun."

this speaks for itself...now you have my undivided attention if you can prove that 'right to bear arms' really means 'right to bear arms other than assault weapons'

trump on the idea of banning people on no fly lists from buying guns..."Well, I’d certainly take a look at it. I would. I’m very strong into the whole thing with the Second Amendment — but if you can’t fly, and if you’ve got some really bad — I would certainly look at that very hard."

there are almost a million people on the government's various watch lists...many of them completely innocent and only on the lists because they have the same name as someone else...

I personally don't see a lot of Christian comments coming from some people who are the biggest finger pointers.

I'm pretty sure Trumps IQ is high. Otherwise he wouldn't be in the position he is and has been for decades. Unfortunately, I believe he also gets easily bored...and an intelligent, bored man as commanding officer...well...

Lol I don't think he's bored at all, I think he's having a fun time. Though my comment was moreso to express that if Trump wants to ban assault weapons, wants to ban muslims from getting guns, and recognizes that indeed guns are a major problem in America that need some restrictions placed on them, then he's totally right and is smarter than most of America.
 
I mentioned this earlier but I will reiterate. We don't need a first lady in the office who dresses like a prostitute. I wouds how you the pictures but it would not be appropriate here. Remember when Michelle Obama had that huge backlash just appearing on a magazine cover in shorts? Double standard much? I theorize it is because he is a celebrity and Americans are programmed to follow obnoxious celebrities. I personally do not want to see the White House turned into a three ring circus

I haven't seen Melania dress like a prostitute, but then again I suppose I haven't gone looking for pictures of her either.

I was searching images of her just to prove my point in those happened to pop up. If this were any other presidential candidate whose wife had posed thusly, it would be a huge controversy. I guess the trump camp is cherry picking which Christian standards to uphold

I think most ain't aware of that, this is the first I've heard of it. Then again as I said, I haven't gone looking up pictures of Melania though.

Do you think it is to the standard to look for lewd photos of women that you know are other men's wives?

I'm not going down that rabbit trail so lets stay on point here. Trump could probably pee on a flag and slap an old lady and people would still vote for him. Did you see the campaign rally when he stole a ladies coat? But yet trump voters want to talk about integrity? The brainwashing is real

Lol I rather think I'm still on point asking a question to the point you raise.

In terms of the coat incident, yes I did see that. The woman thought she'd make a scene, guess it didn't work out for her how she pictured. They mailed her coat back to her by the way.

Lol I suppose Trump could pee on the flag and people still vote for him. Funny enough Trump has brought up this point in another manner of speaking.

The coat incident could have been staged tho because he has been known to pay actors to heckle him

I appreciate you sharing this, but I agree with Trump. He's not robotic regarding the 2nd Amendment. Felons can't own guns; is that unconstitutional? No. However, I disagree with Trump regarding assault weapons. In fact, I think it should be mandated that all competent, law abiding citizens have assault weapons. Its not street crooks that pose the ultimate threat upon the citizenry, its a tyrannical government. Assault weapons keep the latter in check.

As Christians we know following Jesus is the only thing that has lasting value. But we live in the U.S. and have an obligation to put in people who love and fear God and will follow the Constitution.

No matter what happens I truly love my brothers and sisters in Christ who are for Trump or Hillary for that matter. But now, before it's all said and done, is the time to try and change hearts and minds. For Christians, and even just ordinary conservatives, the Trump situation reminds me of the friend you have that's a girl, and you plead with her that the guy she is falling for is bad for her, everyone can see he's bad for her EXCEPT her,abusive, doesn't matter, cheater, doesn't matter, incredible boorish behavior doesn't matter, she is blinded and will only realize the truth about the jerk down the road. Forget about Trump's numerous flip-flops, and questionable stances on several key issues, if you just look at how he treats people, that in itself should give pause. Yes I know politics is a contact sport, but there is not even a smidgen of decent decorum out of this guy.

The crazy thing is, if you were going to build the best candidate for the presidency, from a Christian conservative point of view, you would make someone very similar to Ted Cruz. Now, no candidate is perfect, but this guy WILL follow the Constitution. He has proven he is willing to take the political heat to do the right thing. I'm talking about obama shutting down the gov. to try and stop Cruz and the GOP from defunding obamacare. He stood up to RINO repubs, the media, DEms, and obama. I can't think of an issue that I go "ooh that's a nonstarter with me" that Cruz endorses.

On top of all of that, several prominant establishment Republicans have come out and said they'd rather have Trump than Cruz. What does that tell you? They fear Cruz because they know what Cruz says he actually believes AND WILL DO.

I just want to reiterate that who someone chooses to vote for in an election has no bearing on my love for that person.

Sure that's possible, but I personally think they are genuine. Most the protestors against Trump have been the weebo degenerates that naively follow after Comrade Bernie.

You're a much better man than I am, my Brother. I see socialist democrats as true enemies to godliness, decency and our sovereignty, just to name a few. I pray God opens the hearts and minds of our enemies so they may come to know Christ and rejoice in His saving grace. Yet through it all, I don't like them. In fact, I loathe them.
