now I can't say more. I can only say what I know to be true and I never addressed you or you remarks other than in the fashion you addressed me and even then, to let you know you are way off and did not understand what I wrote
now, sadly, I am just going to put you on ignore for awhile because you are simply being a distraction and it seems you need attention that I cannot give to you
so I will not be answering you again in this thread because I have tried several times and you just continue and I don't know why

I have had people in my life before that I have about turned myself inside out to try and get on a level of comprehension with, that precludes personal judgement and to this day have had no success.
you do not seem able to read something without seeing yourself in what is written and assuming people are making snide remarks or whatever.
that, is your problem and it will continue until you ease up and allow for a mature conversation and acknowledge that when someone tries to assure you they are not meaning you, addressing you or picking on you, that they may, actually and probably as a Christian, mean what they say and you should accept it and move on.

My post question wasn't to you Rainrider , it was to the ones who say they felt it was about promoting self. Truthfully, I am having a hard time understanding why some seem to be so on the defensive in this thread. I thought you brought up an interesting question about the law, and I don't see where this thread went south, but I don't want to try and figure it out either. Maybe you can make it clear to me.

I can't remember fully what happened but I do know that from your posts to me it left no doubt in my mind that you somehow did not like me
and so yes
any post after that unexpected initial negative interaction from you left me on guard against you
so yes it probably would be best that you don't respond to me

No, I don't mind at all miknik5. The Word was in them before He became flesh I believe. I believe we can say the Spirit of the Word of God who was with God and who was God Jn. 1.. I know Him to be Jesus my Savior!

I don't know how to answer this. I can tell you what I think I believe and I am thankful my salvation doesn't depend on understanding this, but my take is. Jesus is all that God is but not all there is to God. In a sense Christ and the Spirit of God are synonymous and yet distinct; IOW, God the father is greater than Jesus as Jesus said, but how? I believe the father was greater than Jesus by position, function and office, but they are very equal in nature, character and essence. I hope this answers your question, but I don't pretend to say I know what makes God tick or that my being a finite creature can explain the infinite. I'd have to say God is past finding out that way, but one day we'll know even as we are known when we see Him face to face.
Okay. But do you agree then with John 5 and the truth that those who have heard HIS VOICE have passed from death to life and by the NEW COVENANT do not need for any man to teach him because they are led by HIS LIFE GIVING / LIFE LEADING SPIRIT

Miknik5, how can I not agree with this. You are quoting Scripture, and you have understood it correctly, IMHO. Those that hear God's voice are Christ's sheep (of His fold) and they must also know God to hear His voice. Those that know God are saved and belong to God. I can tell you God knows His own and not everyone on this forum knows Jesus. We are led by the Spirit not by man

I saw a division in the OP. as if THE FATHER and THE SON are separate when all that THE SON says is just as THE FATHER says
ans sunce THE FATHER has called all men to look to THE SON and live, I believe that it is aufficientvthat those who have heard HIS VOICE, know they have heard HIS VOICE, know they are washed andcjustified, know this anointing is real, know that no man needs to teach another "know THE LORD" for HE is able to direct the members of HIS BODY by HIS SPIRIT and all who belong to HIM, listen to HIM and will not listen to any other voice telling him what he needs to do to know THE LORD
What is happening here is no different than what happened in the letter to the church at Galatia

Not a jot or a tittle of the law will pass until all has been accomplished because not all are under the NEW cOVENANT and therefore led by HIS SPIRIT and therefore able to handle the outward check list of the law by the inner workings of HIS SPIRIT because not all are baptized into CHRIST and reborn and risen in CHRIST a NEW 8th day CREATION hidden in HIM

I don't really know, from what I can make out some one seen the word law and made a hard left when they should have went right. Any one that reads this will soon see that I all but dropped out of it. I have seen this reaction many times, and so when I first posted on here, I asked about Dan. 9 to test the waters. I posted on a thread about the Sabbath, that went over like the spray from a skunk.
Now I have just had enough, and I lost it. I went on and reported myself, so all I can do now is wait and see.
However you really want to know what got to me, I posted on here how the way folks were acting was not a good thing. I gave teh story of how my Sister, who is an atheist, read just 1 page of this post, and said, "She had been around drug addicts, drunks..... that had more respect than she seen on here. Not one person rad that post. not one person made an attempt to even show remorse. You know I can understand if most didn't read that. or even if just one person read it. actions like that should be seen, and if nothing more than one person lets it be know that what happen was wrong, I would most likely have held my tongue.
When it went on like hay we did good lets bash some more, I did loss it. I am a bit sorry for how I said what I did, I am not however sorry for the meaning of what I said.
It was aimed at you, or most people on here, If you thought it was then that I am deeply sorry for. I have said there are good people on here, and I know there are. I may well try once more. There is a lot out there to learn, I am going to look for a way to keep anyone out that even hints at being disruptive. I know it is all my fault, just ask around their are plenty to say it.
I got to stop, I am just getting mad all over, and that is not good. maybe it time to just kick the dust from my feet.

Okay, well you answered my question. You don't know and that includes me to. I don't know either, but I wouldn't let it bother you that much, because each of us have to give account especially for how we deal with those of the household of faith. Some may be on here just to stir up trouble. We are accountable for our action not theirs; so, hang in there. I have a suggestion; maybe you should choose topics that are a little less controversial, and then work up to the sticky ones. BTW, what do you mean you report yourself? Why would you do that?
I reported myself, becuase it really got to bugging me how I went off. I know it was wrong, and the only way I seen to make it write in my heart was to report myself.
Keep in mind, I am only sorry for the way I said what I did. I am not sorry for it's meaning. Funny when you think about it. If I am not sorry for the meaning, then why does it bug so much? You got an answer to that one? I sure don't.
