The two callings: what will you choice? (Part 2)



First calling: the wisdom:

• “Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars: she hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table.” (Pro 9:1).

The attitude of the wisdom remembers the one of the king of Matthew 22:

• “Again he sent out other servants, saying, Tell those who are invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatlings are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the marriage.” (Mat 22:4)

The wisdom to impart rest and livelihood to those who embrace her:

• she hath killed her beasts – she prepared what it was necessary for the guests procure what they need to obtain the redemption of their soul.
• she hath mingled her wine – she prepared the necessary beverage so that the guests could receive, at the same time, joy and purification to their body;
• she hath also furnished her table: she make all this banquet into the nourishment for their body, as well as a occasion for spiritual communion.

Second calling: the foolish woman:

• “Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.” (Pro 9:17).

She is lazy and thief. The verse below serves to show the difference between the wisdom and the foolish woman:

• “The wicked desires the net of evils; but the root of the righteous yields fruit.” (Pro 12:12).

The foolish woman only take heed on fleshy and selfish pleasures and always on the lookout for what belongs to others; the wisdom seeks her pleasure in Christ and have delight in share it with people.



So, instead of coveting the misery of the others, let's be fraught of the huge wealth of the Grace and be a blessing wherever we go.
