The two callings: what will you choice? (Part 3)
First calling: the Wisdom:
Many people desire to serve the Wisdom in order to be useful and get a sense to their life. The Wisdom is rich and certainly can reward well those who keep in touch with Her, to her service. What is more, the task of the Wisdom is noble, a reward by itself, to wit, to save simple people.
Second calling: the foolish woman:
The foolish woman is unsavvy because, instead of fill her innermost being with ken so that she can edify her house and bring up a piety seed (as it is the desire of the Creator – Mal 2:15), she dally over sitting at the door of her house in order to swerve the attention of men to herself.
She is idle and inactive, looking out for her prey; she is not active and laborious, as Wisdom, building her house, killing her beasts, furnishing her table, and sending out her maidens to call in her guests. Instead, she stays exposing herself in the most public manner, and being at the utmost ease, sitting as a queen, exactly as the prostitute of Rev 18:
The only difference is that, this woman is wealth, while the foolish woman is poor (but she is pompous). The only thing that she has is her outward beauty (and this for little time).
The Wisdom keep herself to be used by the Creator (Her Husband – Prov 8:27,30) at the right moment in favor of many lives (remember of the king calling his guests).
So, don’t hear with your eyes. As Jesus said:
Once we receive pursuant to what we have, who is brutish will receive more foolishness, unless they pay attention to the Wisdom.
So, let’s have a good day in Christ taking heed to the Wisdom’s servants, instead of falling in love for somebody that has nothing good to add in our life.
