The two callings: what will you choice? (Part 6)
First calling: the Wisdom:
• “She has sent out her young women; she cries upon the highest places of the city, the simple one, let him turn in here. To one lacking heart, she says to him.... Forsake the foolish and live; and go in the way of understanding. ” (Pro 9:3-6).
Second calling: in this case there isn’t, because the foolish woman rest in the death:
• “But he does not know that the dead are there; her guests are in the depths of hell.” (Pro 9:18).
The foolish woman rest in the high places, that is, the site where Israel’s people used to sacrifice to other gods (see Lev 26:30; 1Kings 3:2; 12:31,32; 13:12; 15:14; 22:44; 2Kings 12:3; 14:4; 15:4,35; 16:4; 18:4,22; 21:3; 23:5,8,9,13,19,20). And, as we know:
• “The man who wanders out of the way of understanding shall rest in the assembly of departed spirits.” (Pro 21:16).
At no moment she wishes that someone veer from foolish, let alone they live. After all, she is as the corrupted priests of the Old Testament:
• “They eat up the sin of My people, and they set their heart on their iniquity.” (Hos 4:8).
The deportment of foolish woman is like the demeanor of Moab’s women:
• “And Israel lived in Shittim, and the people began to fornicate with the daughters of Moab. And they called the people to the sacrifices of their gods. And the people ate and bowed down to their gods.” (Num 25:1,2).
To get free of this, we need to obey the Wisdom: live; and go through the way of understanding. Remember that, it was when David settled in left his obligation that he fell in adultery (2Samuel 11:1).
• “And it happened at the turn of the year, at the time kings go forth, David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel. And they destroyed the sons of Ammon and circled Rabbah. But David remained at Jerusalem.” (2Sa 11:1).
So, don’t get stopped, nor walking astray; rather, go ahead with Jesus in wisdom (Eph 5:16,17). Nothing in this world was done to stay stopped. Everything that stops, deteriorate (including the human being).
Retirement is invention of men. While we are alive, let’s live as someone alive, instead of simply passing through the life as a dead, without doing any difference.
Have always good days being a star shining the bright of Jesus (Philippians 2:14,15). After all:
• “And those who are wise shall shine as the brightness of the sky; and those who turn many to righteousness shall shine as the stars forever and ever.” (Dan 12:3).
