Emotions are unreliable and can never be trusted. When we’ve experienced something exhilarating, we are on a high; but when we hit a rut along the way leaving us stranded for a long time, then we feel the lows. It is like moving through an uncharted terrains, some times we’re up the mountain then unexpectedly, we slide into dark valleys. And our emotions glide with what we’ve encountered.
In this world where change is constant, we can rely on the unchanging, unwavering, inerrant Word of God and Promises of our unchanging God. Our terrestrial mind cannot fully grasp this truth. We shut off our senses, and let faith move through this unearthly medium of the unseen. Whether we believe it or not, or our faith lack the needed heavenly nudge, God’s Word and His promises are binding and enforceable.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Ps.119:105
