Prophecy of Methuselah
"When he dies it shall come" or "his death shall send".
There is a very important prophesy concerning the Days of Noah and therefore concerning the rapture. It is the prophecy of Methuselah, he lived 969 years and died the year of the flood. Now there are two ways to calculate years, generally it is understood that a prophetic year is 360 days, a little shorter than the 365.25 days of our years.
If we subtract 969 years from 2026 we get either 1069 or 1071 depending on which formula we use.
So then what major thing concerning the church was born at that time which would "die" the year the tribulation begins? It turns out that
"Freedom of the church" was first born at that time.
2 Kings 11:1 And when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal. 2 But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons which were slain; and they hid him, even him and his nurse, in the bedchamber from Athaliah, so that he was not slain. 3 And he was with her hid in the house of the Lord six years. And Athaliah did reign over the land.
Joash a king was hidden for six years, and then brought out to reign when he was seven. In 1077 there was a Papal Bull declaring this doctrine of "freedom of religion": the theory of freedom of religion of ecclesiastical authority of the Catholic Church from secular or the temporal power, that is, the freedom to accomplish its spiritual mission without interference from any secular power. This doctrine existed prior to this Papal Bull, so this might have been born in 1069-1071
Clearly that doctrine of freedom of religion will die when Antichrist is revealed and takes power. If this is the modern analog to Methuselah, then Methuselah being 7 in 1077 fits perfectly with the year of 2026 being the start of the tribulation and the year that the Antichrist is revealed. If freedom of religion has been restraining the Antichrist from being revealed, and if the rapture is "when we go up the fallen angels are sent down" then it makes sense that when the rapture takes place freedom of religion will die, and that will send the judgement.
Is it just me or does anyone else have a really sick feeling about the direction America is heading and where we will most likely be in the next 5-10 years or sooner?

Concerned, but not sick? I don't know why I've felt really sick over it lately. I certainly am very concerned.
1 Peter 5:7. Not your weight to carry.
Every time I begin to get uneasy I realize it is a signal to fill up on faith, spend more time in the word. I start every day with at least an hour in the word, and often 2-3 hours (I am retired). So yes, there have been a couple of times where I felt like I was "coming down with something" about to be sick over what was happening worldwide and it was a signal to me to dive into the word immediately.
I am also retired which gives me more time to think about it. More time in the word sounds like a great plan.
We certainly need to pray for this war to end in peace . And it’s probably true that it’s not going well for the west . These wars are so foolish no matter how I look at it . If the Lord was leading Israel he certainly would not need USA and others help . Less is more with God if you read the history of Israel in the OT .
My sister called me recently and was sick over what she was seeing. I would describe it as "trembling". She wanted to know what to do and the call began as a question about "what to invest in"? I explained to her that silver was only a bridge. It takes you from this one area where everything is going to collapse to this other area where they have complete control over what you can buy or sell. When the dollar collapses you will be happy you have something that still has value. But within a short period of time weeks or months, not years, they will make it illegal to have silver and gold and you will have to turn it into the government or they will send the jackboots to your house. She was so scared she wanted to move to another country. I asked her "where would you go?" She said "Panama or Vietnam"! How idiotic is that? She has never been to either country but for some strange reason thinks they would be safe when the whole world collapses. I explained to her that there will be no place to hide. The age of grace is our opportunity to receive Jesus Christ's salvation and the day of the Lord is like the last two minutes of this exam, after which it is pencils down. Every single person on this planet must make a decision for themselves whether or not to confess their sins, repent and turn to the Savior for forgiveness.
She asked me what my plan was. I said my plan was

Oil is the world's cotter pin
Think of the world's economy as a simple equation where the total economy is the total work done. In order to get the work done the other side of the equation has many factors, but for every single one of them it requires power. That power could be from fossil fuel, could be the power required to transport goods, could be from food that powers the humans, or it could be electricity that comes from solar, wind, water or nuclear.
So then, any reduction in power will result in a reduction to the total work done and thus cause the economy to shrink. This does not mean that taking a refinery offline for two weeks for maintenance causes a reduction in the world's economy. We have the ability to store energy in "strategic reserves" just like the human body can store fat. Maintenance is factored into this big equation. However, when you start blowing them up, and burning them, and preventing them from operating due to war, that is not factored in. They have calculated that about 10 million barrels of oil have been taken offline on a daily basis since the war began. That is about 11% of global oil consumption. This has gone on for 46 days. As a result they say we have just about depleted our storehouse of oil and will soon run out. At that point you will see a dramatic rise in the price of oil, likely 100% and many businesses will shut down as a result. However, on a daily basis we are seeing stories like this, another refinery in Russia burning, or one in the US has a fire, or oil infrastructure in the Mid East is being bombed. Also we only have so much space to store oil, if they cannot load it onto ships and ship it out of the Mid East they have to cap the wells.
What I am saying is that you can compare this to a human being who has not eaten for 46 days. They are living off of their fat. But this fat is about to run out and at that time the body will start cannibalizing itself. Oil provides roughly a third of the world's energy consumption, so a 11-15% cut in oil is really like a 5% cut in the world's energy consumption. It sounds like "belt tightening" but oil is 90% of the energy used for transportation. It is a key ingredient in the manufacture of Petrochemicals. So then you might have the energy to manufacture a product but not the energy to transport it to where it is needed. Or you might have the energy to manufacture a chemical, but not have the ingredients needed. I remember once driving a big automobile that came to a screeching halt because of the "points". A tiny part that cost $1. Because one tiny part was broken the entire car would not work. I also remember having a boat with an outboard engine, and our cotter pin broke when we hit a rock. As a result the engine would not work. A cotter pin costs next to nothing, but without that tiny part the propeller won't turn and the boat won't go.
It is like dominoes. Suppose the company that makes "cotter pins" goes out of business because of the increase cost in oil so now all you need is a little cotter pin to keep working but because that company is out of business your whole factory also grinds to a halt. Or suppose the part is still being made but it is now twice as hard and twice as long to get the part because of the number of truckers who went out of business because of the spike in oil prices. So now you have this ripple effect in many other businesses that are having issues, not just because of oil prices but because their suppliers are either out of business or cannot ship the product to them.
