The realities of drone warfare.

Russia claims to have shot down 288 drones, the cost for that would have exceeded $60 million in missiles and that wouldn't include all the other related costs in cannon fire, etc. Even at the most expensive drones Ukraine's expense is less than the $60 million, however, the first wave was cheap decoy drones costing $4,000 each. If the 288 drones shot down were the cheap decoys then the ratio is $60 million in missiles to shoot down $1 million in cheap decoys.

However if 1,000 drones attacked Moscow it would indicate over 500 got through.

Consider the ramifications, if 500 drones made it through and hit strategic targets like weapons depots and oil storage what happens in the next attack? Russia won't have the weapons or fuel for resupply. I assume drones that are not shot down return to Ukraine, so they simply need to replace 288 cheap decoy drones.

Now consider this, Moscow air defense represents the most sophisticated and comprehensive air defense system that Russia has. If Ukraine can beat that then no target in Russia is safe.

I view this war between Russia and Ukraine as R&D for drone warfare for Ukraine, Russia and the US.

I suspect the US is designing systems that will drop 1,000 drones from 30,000 feet, well above canon fire and designing cheap $4,000 decoys to perfectly replicate the signature of the $60,000 drones that carry weapons.

Think about that, 1,000 decoys would cost $4 million. That is nothing for the US military budget. Whereas 1,000 interceptor missiles would cost $6 billion.
 

A major breakthrough over the issue of Greenland. Denmark has finally humbled themselves somewhat and seen the obvious writing on the wall and come up with an acceptable proposal to basically cede military control of Greenland to US while maintaining the territorial control over Greenland as a semiautonomous region still under the Crown of Denmark. Though it be better to purchase Greenland for everybody, for the time being this will be acceptable to give USA a key area of control in the Arctic. My good servant Trump clenches a key trilateral security agreement over Greenland for the US, and overall a forbidding of the growing heretic barbarian menace of Russia to interfere too much in the area. This is good foreign policy/geopolitics news for the good guys. Though enacted via diplomacy and softpower still nevertheless a very big and significant deal for geopolitics and the long war over the world, a big victory without a single death, a flawless victory the credit can only be given to God, praise Jesus.
