He makes a very good point, this is the most pro Israel US government in our history. If they are going to attack Iran they need to do it during this administration. Also, I would add that you would not do this next year as that is an election year for the midterms and you would not do it after the midterms as at that point you are a lame duck looking to help our party win the next election. So if Trump and Netanyahu are going to do something incredibly reckless like destroying the bow of Elam they need to do it in next few months. Also, any attack like that would have huge repercussions on global trade and the stock market. He points out that Iran has the most extensive and sophisticated subterranean network housing their missiles in the world and that countries to not spend billions on these things while the country is experiencing 45% inflation if they are not intending to need it. Iran has said if the US attacks their ships then they will attack US shipping all the way to the Gulf of Mexico, so that is also off the table. Iran is a legitimate existential threat to Israel and therefore to the petrodollar. He also pointed out how conventional weapons have not been very effective in the war in Yemen, and therefore they would be a complete bust in Iran. Based on this he argues that the B2s will deliver both bunker buster bombs and tactical nukes as the only way to take out Irans missiles. Israel can take out the radar and air defenses and run a diversion.
He also points out that once the US uses tactical nukes they have opened pandoras box for Russia, Iran, N. Korea and China to use them as well.
