So what is the difference in gas prices in Democratic-run states like California and red states? Didn't Joe Biden shut down pipelines, and don't the Dems shut down refineries, all of which elevate prices?
You can pump all the crude oil you want, but if you can’t convert it into gasoline and diesel, it doesn’t matter, at least not for gas prices.
In the post you quoted we were not discussing the Red/Blue gang fight we were discussing the "oh man who cares about the politics there's some really bad timing brewing up at harvest time in the US which is going to translate to higher food prices" I get it though here in Texas there's drought in half the state and flooding in the other half and it's all Joe Biden's fault,lol.

I don't know if the riots are related to the war or not, I suspect it is all related. Apparently France is so broke that the schools have been neglected, there are a lot of issues with the condition of the schools and the protests are about that. However, the war in the MidEast is certainly aggravating the situation in France and the threat of Russia Nuking NATO is also certainly going to put the issues with the schools on the back burner.
Also, I pointed this out before, 60% of the children in France are "illegitimate" even though that term is no longer used in France. But one consequence is that when the children turn 18 they are kicked out of the house and because it is very hard to get a job and inflations is very serious, life for these kids is very tough.
So the conditions are just right for those who want to foment a riot. Which is why I put this in this thread as I can imagine both Russia and Iran want the kids in France to foment a riot.

And then there's the rest of us who watch everyone go back and forth day after day explaining why they hate Trump and blame everything on him verses the ones who hate Biden and blame everything on him. The big hate fest over the past several years has caused progress though there's a whole new group that will really be glad when the two are long gone and forgotten.

Biden opened the borders, closed down pipelines, and I despise Biden for voting to defund our allies in Vietnam, leading to the loss of South Vietnam to the Communists and the abandonment (surrender) of our embassy in Hanoi. I blame Walz and the Democrats who run Minnesota for the George Floyd riots, which produced 164 federal arson investigations and the burning down and surrender of a police station to a left-wing mob. Republicans are to be blamed for not really doing much about anything. Lower crime rates is good for all law abiding including children along with closed borders. Open borders benefit drug cartels.

Most people i know do not spend time on politics if they are not interested any more than i would spend time watching soap operas. There is no point in complaining about soap operas and then watching them.
And then there's those who in their own mind believe they are gathering support when in actuality they are driving away fellow conservatives. There's a reason why Republicans in places like Texas are afraid it may be about to flip to blue but most wont figure out why till it's too late.

No reason given. Unless you like higher crime and more taxes. Higher gas prices. Open borders and vote cheating, not to mention making drug cartels richer and richer at the expense of American lives.

Yep the one promises to rescue US and don't then the other, one administration after the next. The only thing any of them said that was true is when they called it the swamp,(a quagmire) because everywhere we turn we sink up to our knees in the mud and we're stuck.
Well, I'm not of this world so I'm not part of the "we" in that equation
