Not mobilized with their military. If you look at Psalm 83 it is fewer enemies than Ezekiel 38 and that is fewer than Armageddon.

It appears to be a progression.

Yeah, but it seems a bit like baiting and trying to elicit fear. The number of folks that are actually engaging in combat against Israel would be more pertinent to the topic... j/s.

Israel has a population of 9 million, you think they are all engaged in the combat? It is a very relevant metric.

What ever happened to Rosy the Riveter? During WWII we understood that everyone was involved in the war.

I never said that Israel is godly or walking one with God. Why do you want to twist people's words and infuse them with your twisted comprehension?

Israel is not saved, they have not repented, they have not received Jesus, they are no different than all the other worldly nations that are in the evil one.

The difference is not in their righteousness or holiness, it is in the fact that God made a covenant with Abraham which He will keep and that they are currently under God's discipline to turn them to Jesus and they have been given the Holy Scriptures.

The hypocrisy in the world is that they are condemning Israel for doing the same things that they themselves do.

Thank you for the clarification, some people seem to think "they" can do no wrong and I wrongly classified you as part that mindset. I apologize.

God kept his covenant with Abraham in Jesus.

Matt 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 (‘all these things will happen before this generation passes away’) offer no hope of a subsequent ‘return’ to the land.

If one's position is that the modern state of Israel is the fulfillment of prophecy one has to appeal to Old Testament alone, and ignore what the New Testament does with such text, as well, along with ignoring the fact that a return to the physical land was actually fulfilled in the return from exile.

The tribulation period which is the entire church age, not just the famous seven years in Revelation is a period where God is separating the wheat from the tares.

Romans 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

There are a lot of people in Israel claiming descent from Abraham, like the Rothschilds, but they are descended from Edom, or they are descended from one of the other children of Abraham other than Isaac. Being descended from the child of the promise is as much about faith as it is about genealogy.

We should not be surprised if many, even the majority of those in Israel are children according to the flesh, God will sort them out over the next seven years.
