I think it's perfectly fine...ya know I feel like I've been walking through hell on earth the last few weeks due to issues I'd rather not get into so I understand how a joke can seem to be insulting even though it was not intended that way because a friend of mine did that to me yesterday. You are human and from what I've gotten to know of you, you are a nice guy. Please don't allow circumstances to determine your outlook on life....trust me it's too exhausting lol
Zero you are one of the people here who are very encouraging to others. But you also hurt like most of us that it is only human to project that hurt to others sometimes even when we don't mean to. So it is ok to take a break and heal your wounds. You can overcome it and come back soon, hopefully.

You're right Renewed. I just wasted a whole afternoon too. Now that I'm a bit calmer, I realize that maybe he just doesn't have any idea how much his comment offended me... but I did explain it very clearly in several posts... I should probably just accept the fact that some people just aren't going to care if they hurt you or not...

You are welcome and thank you! The best thing to do when you are going through difficult times is to get into the word of God. I talked to a dear friend of mine yesterday and this is always their advice to me and let me tell you it really does work. The enemy wants to see us destroyed, but the truth God does not want that to happen and to have faith and turn to him for comfort. Praying always makes me feel closer to our heavenly Father

Three days and two threads about leaving and yet you sit around arguing instead doing what you said. Go or don't go, but don't say one thing, do another and get upset when people get bored with the drama. Pick one and act rather than staying around and arguing about nothing with one foot out the door.
What are you even doing in here, Ugly? You know its my thread right? And we all know that you aren't my friend. I mean i don't care if you're in here or not.... Knock yourself out.... And I totally agree with you! I meant to take my break but this particular person got under my skin and I couldn't help but try to explain to him how callous he was being towards me in my own thread, hoping that maybe he would maybe give a hoot but obviously that is beneath him. I know that's not something you would know anything about since you aren't capable of being hurt by words. I actually wish I could be a little more like you.... Of course now you'll probably lecture me on how I shouldnt be so sensitve, but I already know that I shouldn't... I just can't help it sometimes.

I realize now that Lynx probably didn't mean anything by posting that original comment... and that I was just blinded by my own anger and frustration which was compounded by other external things going in my life on that have nothing to do with CC....
