Walk trough the valley
"The word of the Lord was rare in those days."
People were not able to hear, and to some so it is today; not because it's not present but because some do not access it; not because it's behind closed doors, but because they do not want to access the Word of the Lord. "The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophesy." The Word of the Lord is prophetic Truth spoken within us, for us. Critiquing other groups is easy and primal, espescially for alfa males: the left condemns the right and the right condemns the left, is the plan of the enemy to divide a lukewarm church. And those people will say Laodecia is not about today, that was back then. If you were going to use texts as authoritative, would you pick text that expose your people's failures or would you selec text that show your side as winners?
Before it was said "The word of the lord was rare in these days," it was said, "Everyone did what was right in their own eyes." It's easier to blame someone else than to examine our own sin as the cause. When I was homeless, unemployed and addicted to weed, falling from bad to worse, the Lord told me: Be thankful for what you have.
I ended up in tears and told Him: Lord tel me what I have so I can be thankful for it. He said: You have a relationship with Me.
We are born in trouble, some of us more so. Bear with me in my folly, it's like time travel to come to a place where "The Word of the Lord was rare in those days." You could have my gift but many of you have been told that the Lord no longer speaks today, and you believed every word; rather than believe "He is the same yesterday, today and forever." It also may be that I should not travel back in time as the Lord told me: I don't need your help. I'm obviously not a good comunicater, I just happened to qualify to hear Him. "He is a Father to the fatherless," and "He is near the poor and broken hearted." Dosent make you more mature but more acountable. Is this why some of you dont want to hear, to remain babes in Christ? But gifts of the Spirit are not a mark of maturity, the fruit of the Spirit is, and neither are those who remain babes able to Love as God Loves. "There are diversities of Gifts but the same Spirit." Tel me, what gift of the Spirit is also a fruit of the Spirit?
A question with the answer hidden in plain sight. For example, it sais "Let prophesy be according to the proportion of Faith." Does that mean, if people don't believe we can hear the Holy Spirit leading us in the Truth, that you keep silent?
Now we have two questions, the first is easy; the second I don't know the answer either.

I'm glad that the Lord spoke to you about your relationship with Jesus. Thank you for sharing.
