Biological and geological evolutionary sciences began together through the work of bishop Nicolas Steno and later researchers who used the fossil record found in rock strata to act like pages of a book in relating the great, if incomplete, biological and geological history of the planet stretching back many millions of years -

The problem isn't evolutionary sciences, the problem is the races/racism doctrines of the 19th century Victorians who attempted to divide the human race into races/racism in a doctrine called natural selection-
" On the Origin of Species by Means of
Natural Selection, or the Preservation of
Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life" Charles Darwin, 1859
If people wish to see what a less favoured 'race' looks like, then Darwin explains it-
"
Given a land originally peopled by a thousand Saxons and a thousand Celts- and in a dozen generations five-sixths of the population would be Celts, but five-sixths of the property, of the power, of the intellect, would belong to the one-sixth of Saxons that remained. In the eternal 'struggle for existence,' it would be the inferior and less Favoured Race that had prevailed- and prevailed by virtue not of its good qualities but of its faults and narrower brain. " Charles Darwin, Descent of Man, 1871
It takes a more considerate Christian to untangle natural selection from genuine evolutionary sciences which do not promote aggression or survival-of-the-fittest as the driver of life on Earth. The American variant of creationism v darwinism doesn't help as the real foundations of natural selection are found in the mid 19th century as a colonial expansion excuse.
As a Christian, I love the human race with all its different cultures and complexions, however, the idea of races/racism or natural selection still dominates the education system without proper consideration as to what it represents.
