My understanding:

In Matthew 24 Jesus Christ states the Tribulation will be cut short or no flesh would remain,

The final half of the "time of the End" is 1260 days, i.e. 42 months i.e. 3 1/2 years,

the final year of the final 3 1/2 is THE Day of the LORD.

Therefore; the Tribulation will be cut short on the final day of the first 2 1/2 years. The final day, as I can find no scripture stating the 1260 days had been cut short. The Great Tribulation is 900 days long.

I have found the Time of the end is seven years. Seven is God's number showing Spiritual Completion, Spiritual perfection.

During the first 3 1/2 years Seals 1 - 4 are fulfilled and the final 3 1/2 years -- 1260 days , Seals 5, 6 and 7 take place.
Matthew 24:22 in no way indicates the length of time of the 'great tribulation' referred to in the previous verse - only that it 'shall be shortened'. Whether 1 day, 1 year, 100 years, or ~2000 years - it can/could still be 'shortened' - the statement only applies to the end of it - regardless of the time span of it.

The "time of the end" is not defined in the Bible to be/have a specific length of time.

The 'Day of the Lord' is two things - 1000 years - and, the first [24-hour] day of that 1000 years.

It begins the moment Christ returns to set up His kingdom on earth - the 'Second Coming of Christ'.

The 'great tribulation' in Matthew 24:21 refers to a ~2000 year span of time. (so far)

The things associated with the 'Seals' occur over a period of time that I estimate to be ~2000 years.

The things associated with the 'Trumpets' occur over a period of time that I estimate to be ~3.5 years.

The things associated with the 'Vials' occur over a period of time that I estimate to be hours-to-days.

The thread title is a true statement - there is no place in scripture that supports the idea of a 7-year 'tribulation' [period].

“The tribulation is for the saints ???”

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
‭‭John‬ ‭16:33‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭14:22‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.”
“Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

‭‭“Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; and ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.

But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭10:16-22‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; and cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

….
And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭7:9-10, 13-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judæa and Samaria, except the apostles.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭8:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his Lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep your's also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭15:18-

Yes those with God's Spirit in them will have tribulation in their lives but read the first 7 chapters of Ezekiel which tells about the Time of Jacob's Trouble the worst time of trouble ever in the last 6000 years.

Christ also tells us of the same time in Matthew 24.

Before the Tribulation, the 5th Seal, begins the United States will lose 2/3 of our 330 million to famine, disease and war. and we are fast approaching the day and hour.

Jeremiah 30 is talking about the 'time of Jacob's trouble' (phrase in verse 7) - Ezekiel chapters 1-7 are not.

The event/place in history of the 'time of Jacob's trouble' is Armageddon.

Matthew 24 does not speak specifically of the 'time of Jacob's trouble' - the 'great tribulation' (verse 21) is referring to something generally different altogether.

The 5th Seal is not about the United States specifically.
