Mind you, I'm not a liberal myself. Personally I'm a moderate. I considered myself a conservative before a few conservatives started acting like idiots and gave the brand a bad name.

But I think it's fascinating to see how loud some people get when they don't expect any return fire.

Story time!

Once upon a time an Army sniper was out at the shooting range, plugging every target dead-center. A rookie commented to a drill instructor in admiration about the sniper's skill. The drill instructor went out and said something to the sniper. The sniper missed his next three shots by half a mile.

"Wow, what did you say to him?" asked the rookie.

"I just made the observation that if this was a real battle, those targets would be shooting back."

Moral of the story: It's easy to take shots when there's no return fire. I'd like to see some people in this thread, or on this forum, sitting in a cafe in a liberal state - Somewhere in Seattle or Vancouver, maybe Portland - just to see how much quieter they would be. Why, I bet they wouldn't say a word about the opinions they tout so brashly here on this safe forum.
If they did, they would end up like that judge, getting jumped and beaten. My wife has relatives who live in Portland, and they told us horror stories from the summer of 2020! I'm glad that I live in the Midwest and not in a liberal state.

Your response to my earlier post regarding this lacks credibility. Under the US Constitution and US laws, giving aid and comfort to the enemy constitutes treason.

1. Is Iran the sworn enemy of the United States? Absolutely.
Iran is no mere adversary, it is America's mortal enemy
https://www.jpost.com/opinion/article-771089

2. Has Joe Biden given aid to Iran? Absolutely! OVER 71 BILLION dollars. Not counting the additional 10 billion given recently. "According to The Daily Signal’s calculations, Iran has received approximately $71.02 billion more under Biden than it would have under Trump."
https://www.dailysignal.com/2023/10...-admin-freed-iran-hamas-terror-attack-israel/

3. Has Joe Biden given aid to the Taliban, which is also America's enemy?
The U.S. Left Billions Worth of Weapons in Afghanistan
https://foreignpolicy.com/2022/04/28/the-u-s-left-billions-worth-of-weapons-in-afghanistan/
By Jack Detsch, a Pentagon and national security reporter at Foreign Policy, and Robbie Gramer, a diplomacy and national security reporter at Foreign Policy. The estimate was 80 billion dollars worth.

Billions spent on Afghan army ultimately benefited Taliban
https://apnews.com/article/joe-biden-army-taliban-185017ba2944eb43392a0ad8ffffb25f

WASHINGTON (AP) — Built and trained at a two-decade cost of $83 billion, Afghan security forces collapsed so quickly and completely — in some cases without a shot fired — that the ultimate beneficiary of the American investment turned out to be the Taliban. They grabbed not only political power but also U.S.-supplied firepower — guns, ammunition, helicopters and more.

The Taliban captured an array of modern military equipment when they overran Afghan forces who failed to defend district centers. Bigger gains followed, including combat aircraft, when the Taliban rolled up provincial capitals and military bases with stunning speed, topped by capturing the biggest prize, Kabul, over the weekend.

4. Has Joe Biden given aid to the Mexican drug cartels which are sworn enemies of America? Absolutely.
AG MOODY RELEASES DHS DOCUMENT SHOWING BIDEN ADMIN. KNOWS DRUG CARTELS ARE CONTROLLING ILLEGAL MIGRATION AND PROFITING FROM CHAOS AT SW BORDER
https://www.myfloridalegal.com/news...iden-admin-knows-drug-cartels-are-controlling

This is clear evidence of treason, but obviously you have ignored the evidence, and so have the RINOs in government who did absolutely nothing.

Also, while technically the destruction of your own country is not precisely "levying war" against, in practical terms that is exactly what it is. I have posted in Christian News how Biden has destroyed the US military, and now military personnel will hold all the corrupt militrary leadership accountable, and even court-martial them. But Biden is the one ultimately responsible.

And Joseph Biden has been SYSTEMATICALLY destroying America in many other ways. Bur once again, you have shut your eyes to the truth.
How does this establish a due process?

You have to make sure an allegation can be proven beyond reasonable doubt before it becomes a legal fact.

Also you will have to make sure that these facts are punishable by law.

Then you have to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the suspect knew what he or she was doing and still went on with it (does Biden know what he is doing?).

Then, and only then, you can get a conviction.

You do agree that a due process is applicable regardless of the circumstances?

It's pretty cut and dried. Any with any sense of morality or decency should NOT support Trump. Period.
I do not think it is about morality most all leaders tend to be immoral/unethical and worse starting somewhere in the last century.

The point you cannot seem to make, but is what I think you are trying to make, is that Christian conservatives have placed Trump on a pedestal, they are not objective and heavily emotional invested in his leadership thinking he will save America.

Trump is a symptom of bad church discipleship, a church that has almost no clout/influence in the political arena because everyone is too busy getting ready for the rapture.

I'll go further and say they shouldn't support either party
Yes, I am beginning to agree that Christians are just perpetuating the problem by supporting Trump, but let's be clear the Democrat party is no closer to any of those Christian principles you like to harp on, they have destroyed communities by their programs which pretend to help the poor.

That does seem to be the motis operandi here at CC, on everyone's account. We all seem to read to respond, not to listen.

Sometimes we read a point that has already been seen and responded to, and figure further response on that point is fruitless. So those points get left out of our response.

These are not really debates to be won. They are points to be considered. By one statement he made, Gojira (oops doing it again) seems to think if he does not convince someone, he's failed. But overall, we will rarely know what comes of the seeds we plant.

Like me. I get the point that we shouldn't stand back and do nothing while this country and the world goes down the tubes. And it certainly seems un-American to abstain from the election process. And I don't mean that we shouldn't be involved at all, tho I know it can come across that way. But the bigger point is, what are our expectations in reality? If God thought we could vote our way out of the worlds destiny, I'm sure at some point He would have said "go forth and vote"

But instead He says, this is what's coming, go forth and prepare for it.

You make very valid points, the sad truth is most Christians (evangelical) cannot clearly state the Gospel how can the church have any impact on a larger society when we do not understand/know the basics of the Good News.

Jesus take the wheel is not the Gospel.

That is such a good quote I am going to steal... Er, appropriate it. It's not stealing if you tell the person you are taking it, right?

You have my full permission and you can even write a song using those words and I am not interested in sharing the royalties, I just want the message to get out there! ;):)

You're absolutely right.

The left deceives the world.

The right deceives believers.

Neither is worthy of our support.

And I would say "harp" in relation to Christian principles is the wrong word. Reminder is better. Many seem to have forgotten the basic Christian principals (gee if only we had been warned against that - oh wait we were!) and need to be reminded of them.

Please post the names of any presidents that have been convicted of this.

does Biden know what he is doing?

He doesn't know what day of the week it is and subsequently he's not the one who is making the decisions, his handlers are. Whoever those people might be.

You are jumping ahead instead of saying "The evidence is there. Now we need to have Biden arrested and then tried in a court of law". Then begins due process and a team of sharp lawyers could make a solid case.

this is true.

too many people, Christians and non Christians alike get caught up in the way off base thinking that says getting the correct people voted in will fix everything.

it won't. only Jesus will set everything right when He returns.

Totally irrelevant.

If folks are going to claim any of the presidents were involved in wrong doing, then surely they got convicted in a trial right?

Of course those throwing accusations at anyone who has not been convicted is going to say it's irrelevant because they hope just the accusation convicts them in the court of public opinion.

That's how the socialists roll right?

Well if that process is good enough to play on Trump, it needs to be played on Biden too! He's dirty as sin!

The right deceives believers.

All the fake churches and fake preachers are deceiving "believers" far more then the political right is. Chimichanga!

No, because again the guilty do not convict their fellow guilty, lest they be convicted themselves.

All the fake churches and fake preachers are deceiving "believers" far more then the political right is. Chimichanga!
False churches and false teachings are indeed a large part of the problem as well. They are also part of why the right leads people astray so easily. If churches were teaching the true information, it would be easier for believers to see where the right goes wrong.

Chimichanga ... is that from where I think it is? lol
