A silly belief/wives tale in my culture is that you shouldn't ever let your purse or wallet touch the ground, or set them on the floor, or else you'll lose money/wealth in the near future.

I used to imagine I'd be a rodeo clown. Thanks for reminding me of my shattered dreams ;)

I don't think I could do that. I'm too slow to outrun a bull and I'd end up gored in my first round.

I imagined growing up that when I was "grown up" I would eat potato chips and drink soda for every meal. I would share more, but it's pretty obvious how my previous imagination turned out...

You know those lights that shine in the clouds at night from amusement parks, and the intro to 20 century Fox.

My daughter taught they were angels.

I don't remember much of what I was afraid of.. or my silly thoughts.. haha.. but I do remember my sister's :D
we were having lunch after Sunday school, and suddenly she asked my mom "mom, is Jesus here?" (touching her chest)
my mom said "yes"
then she said "poor Jesus, He must be all wet and dirty from the food and water... "

:D

We had a similar conversation. When my son was younger he pulled me aside at a baseball game and said,"Mom, guess what? I asked God to be in my tummy." He was very little and of course my older daughter blurts out,"What did you do, eat God!"
