I'm not a fan of the modern worship service, but I force myself to go in hopes of some fellowship. Been to three churches in my community, won't be going to another one. I'll just sit on the corner and hand out bibles.
Understood, thank you for being willing to God Father in risen Son given you. many do not see this truth residing in you and others too, and go against you, as I know that one too. Content in all things, good or bad is key to me.
The should's the better's or else God will get you attitudes under Law to get in and be in and if not you will not be in, is truthfully of the first born flesh and blood nature in each person once first born from man and woman, in need to be born new in God Father's Spirit and Truth, that only Father gives.
God reveals as when people will not deny God and God reveals to us the mysteries of God, as needed for us to see as to be wise as a serpent and remain harmless as a dove Matthew 10:16-20, Luke 21:14-15
The remain harmless part was not easy at first, once became aware of evil that masquerades as good
Amazing gift, I am floored everyday in this gift given and am seeing Eph 2 as is not of my first born self anymore. It is new in God Father's Spirit and Truth, the same as Son Jesus did first once for us all to either believe it or not consciously so

True Church

Living Bible

What we are saying is this: Christ, whose priesthood we have just described, is our High Priest and is in heaven at the place of greatest honor next to God himself. He ministers in the temple in heaven, the true place of worship built by the Lord and not by human hands.
And since every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices, Christ must make an offering too. The sacrifice he offers is far better than those offered by the earthly priests. (But even so, if he were here on earth he wouldn’t even be permitted to be a priest because down here the priests still follow the old Jewish system of sacrifices.)

It is a mixing of Law and grace, knowing the truth we are freed, yet have to have the hammer out and get people guilty under sin, to repent over and over again as if Christ's sacrifice was never good enough, more has too get done, which is not truth
When Christ yelled out "It is finished" in John 19:30 What is finished I asked God in prayer
this be what I heard.
Matthew 5:17, my Son came to earth for everyone to get reconciled to me as as if never sinned, not even once, even though all have sinned'
He fulfilled the Law and Prophets about his coming here to do what he has done over 2,000 years ago now. It is finished all are reconciled, forgiven. ( 2Cor 5:17-20)
Now what, I asked, does this mean everyone is saved then by this one act?

No, I only left for the people each individually to decide to either believe my Son was. is perfect in his walk here on earth for them personally, thanking me for Son's one time done work on that cross that took away all sin from my sight to be free to give new life to each in belief to see it is in my risen Son, where new life is given them to walk new in by belief to this done work for them only. Where there is no more guilt or pride residing in the new ones born again. by me God for them
I seal these kids in me to see (Eph 1:13) To see I love them, even if they sin still. If anyone in belief sees will see Eph 1:6-7 and be amazed and will not ever take this gift for granted seeing Psalm 103:12 fulfilled in risen Son for them to be willing the same as Son revealed in going to that cross to begin with for us all without asking anyone, if God should do it or not. God did it, it is done
Time to believe God in risen Son and be new in God's Spirit and Truth, not man's anymore as religion has done wrong ever since the death, burial and resurrection of Son for us to be new in the risen Son, seeing. the death is first to take away all sin in Father's eye sight first, for us to be given new life in working things out With us to see new and love all the same as done on that cross willingly first
It is not sin and death any longer, it is now a new life given us
to see Jeremiah 29:11, Hebrews 10 amazing grace gift to appreciate and not use for any self gain ever thank you

I'm a lot less harmful than I used to be. :)
The same with me, God reveals to each of us, and we get the amazing grace to learn from and see new in how Jesus did that going to that cross once for us all to now be able to be given new life in his risen Life, that leads instead of me, where I used to get angry a lot, not so much anymore.
One of the hardest things for me to do was, find all the people I could that I did wrong to them, whether they knew it was me or not. I got convicted in me, not by anyone or anything else. not by a church, pastor or any person.
I knew what I heard to do, personally.
I wanted to ignore it and not do it. I eventually did it. It was not easy at all. Yet I did it, with everyone I could find. I went to each person and apologized. Expecting to pay any penance any one of them might have demanded.

This one particular person, who knew it not it was me that stole from them. I confessed to that person him and me.
He forgave me and said this to me
"I forgive you" And "I" see you are freed, it is written all over your face
I replied, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you to God and that person, this was heartfelt.
Nothing has been the same ever since, no more hiding, no more stealing, lying, cheating, ever again.
That does not mean that I have not ever had any thoughts to do any wrong(s) all over again, because I have had them, as I know everyone else has also.
Therefore I now see to sit down and chill out, let out my anger, say to like it is, how I feel out loud to God, privately im my own mind, sometimes to others I know are believers in Father, Son and Holy Spirit too, who are One (Won) for us all at that cross. Completed in the resurrection where new .life resides for all to choose to believe God in this truth or not. then the new person begins willingly to not hurt anyone else ever again
I see Eph 1:6;7, 13 as
In God once anyone believes God in risen Son for them
these will come to see
they are
Accepted, forgiven and sealed in God for the Holy Spirit as our guide to all truth. God will not ever forsake and has not ever forsaken anyone. The problem is people think God does, and does not. People do that, not God
And all know God is real the first birth confirms this, having first birth with the knowledge of good and evil. Evil always doing its best to deceive anyone that will listen to evil acting as good, there is a big difference in publishing and disciplining. People Punish, God disciplines
trusting God for discernment that began for me at my facing my wrongs, directly with the people I had done wrong. The freedom began humbly
Therefore I am seeing past the fakers, that are after their own self gains, and not going after any of them, seeing ro remain harmless as a dove Matt. 10:16-20

Thanks for sharing that. I love to hear about the mercy and grace of Yah. He's done many similar things in my own life.

what i find deeply mysterious though, is the role of the estranged wife of God ((Israel)) and the betrothed bride of God ((the church)), by whom He has made her jealous.

He will never utterly forsake His wife, just as He has equally given His word that He will never fo sake us, His betrothed. how will these two become one?

That would make God an adulterer. And we know that can't be true!

No

tho the scripture calls a woman with two husbands an adultress, the Bible never actually condemns plural wives for one husband, though it does qualify a deacon as the husband of only one, and the example of Leah and Rachel is very instructive, and of course, our first picture, Adam and Woman.

but the church is grafted into Israel - the betrothed bride made a part of ((not a replacement for)) the estranged wife.

as i said it is a mystery.

.
Eph 5:30-32 . . We are members of his body. For this reason a man will
leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will
become one flesh. That is a profound mystery-- but I am talking about
Christ and the church.

It appears to me that the joining spoken of in that passage doesn't take
place during the wedding ceremony, rather, it takes place in the bedroom,
viz: in private, behind closed doors. For example:

1Cor 6:15-16 . .Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ
himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with an
harlot? Never! Do you not know that he who unites himself with an harlot is
one with her in body? For it is said: The two will become one flesh.

Anyway, the unity going on with men and women in the human sphere is
carnal, whereas the unity going on with Christ and his church in the divine
sphere is supernatural.

1Cor 6:17 . . But he who unites himself with the Lord is one spirit.
_
part of the ancient Hebrew betrothal process is the consummation, after the wedding feast, which feast takes place at a time only the father may disclose, in secret, carrying away the bride in the middle of the night.

the bridegroom then presents blood to his friends, proving the purity of the Bride. they rejoice over it.

i wouldn't call it outside the marriage ceremony - the marriage is a long, complex process, not just as we simplify it in our thinking, a quick moment of 'i-do's' in front of the magistrate.

it is part of that process, some of which is open, and some of which is secret ((or equivalently described, private - for example the day, the bridegroom certainly knows, but he defers all questions to the father, saying, only the father knows.))

So was, say, John, Andrew, Peter and Paul, so we can see that God did not divorce anyone. He as the faithful one is steadfast in his love.

The description of God and his people as a married couple is imagery. It's not a real marriage as in mam and wife (male and female), but it is a relationship in covenant.

The old has been abrogated and the new inaugurated and, will be consumated in the age to come.

Theres no two plan system one for Jews and one for gentiles or church - which just means God's new community comprising Jew and gentile.

In other words the gentile branches have been grafted into the body, the people of God His bride (remember, Christ is God).

The whole old covenant (Mosaic) was an image that pointed to Christ.

Moses pointed to a greater prophet - fulfilled in Christ.

The priesthood and sacrifices pointed to the high priesthood of another- fulfilled in Christ.

The King of the Kingdom (line of David) pointed to the greater eternal King - fulfilled in Christ who reigns from in heaven now over his kingdom. The kings subjects have been advancing his Kingdom.

The Temple was an image of the garden were God dwelt with our first parents - fulfiled in Christ, wh was made flesh and dwelt amongst us (literally tabernacled). Now dwelling in his people by the Spirit, and looking to the age to come where he will. Once again like the garden dwell with his people. (in fact the church is the temple of God - being made with living stones).

And the list goes on and on and on. We don't need the types anymore as the real 'Israel' at the right time appeared - Jesus of Nazareth, the Messiah (christ).

Nethaniel is a great study resource.. What did Jesus say.. 'a true Isrealite'. 🤔

Basically, Israel is a 'people' of God, the geo - political theocracy called Isreal is abrogated with its temple system.

And, we all those who are in the vine whether wild branches or natural all look forward to living in the land, where God will dwell with his people in the new heavens, new jerusalem at the end of this age and the befiming of the new.

Dispensationalism causes mysteries and confusion and is really a dying theology. It's really just an exciting sci fi read, that masquarades as a christian hermeneutic.
