Thunder is not what most of the world thinks it is. beside a loud rumbling noise, thunder is really the voice of God shouting across the heavens. this is the same thunder the israelites heard when first God began to talk to them. they were so afraid that they told Moses to have God to talk to him, because his voice trembled the earth and hurt their ears. they were afraid of it. This is scripture. JOB: 37-5- GOD THUNDERETH MARVELLOUSLY WITH HIS VOICE; GREAT THINGS DOETH HE, WHICH WE CANNOT COMPREHEND. FOR HE SAITH TO THE SNOW,BE THOU ON THE EARTH; LIKEWISE TO THE SMALL RAIN,AND TO THE GREAT RAIN OF HIS STRENGTH.-----------------------. He is speaking to his creation to do certain things. rain, snow, move here, move their. That's God, creator of all heaven and earth.

That scripture does not back up your claim. Another example of twisting scripture to spiritualize things that are not spiritual. You think you're doing good but it's actually not a healthy claim at all.

In Job 37:5 where you read the thundereth there I would say is the explanation of the voice of. Thundereth is telling us how heavy and loud ?????? the voice of God is.
To me is not that thunder is the voice of God rather that the voice of God sounds thunderously.

but then there's this:

11The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.”
Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. 12After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire.

And after the fire came a gentle whisper. 13When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave.

Then a voice said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

LIKE JOB SAID, BEYOUND YOUR COMPREHENSION.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE FOR THUNDER IF IT IS NOT THE VOICE OF GOD.

Thunder is just the same sign like lightning

He talks to the heavenly host, his creation. he talks to man through the holy spirit with a small still voice so we can hear and understand.
